Tekken tag was great because it was based on a great Tekken game. we need a great Tekken game to come along first before they make Tekken tag 3. Someone needs to tell the director to make some big changes - stop driving all these characters into this this gothic emo b******* art direction and plumping up their bodies to look like roid raged cartoon characters with shrunken heads, . I think as soon as dark resurrection came along this whole f****** series turned into this gothic b*******. It's f****** exhausting and it looks like s***. Everyone's skin still looks like it's about to rot off. There's your unreal engine at work.

Yeah they have all felt somehow less since then. Personally I despise the charge a meter and then press a button to auto combo nonsense, it really ruins the game for me.

Tekken 5 is basically a refined 3 when it comes to gameplay and vibe. And tag series is special too, I always saw them as anniversary titles.(especially 2)

Felt like i was watching a bruce lee movie. That ending finisher in round 2 in the last fight made that girl practically give up in the third round. Literally stood on bidness 😂

I hope they add an option to turn off all those auras and effects. It's starting to get too much. I want it to look like Tekken, not Dragon Ball

@@xLordStormx depends how much though. We still have yet to see the level of which we can adjust all the hit effects. Personally I don't mind the effects, but what does mess me up a little bit are all the camera transitions mid fight. Camera shifts every time we go for combo extenders, heat engages and smashes, Azucena has a camera shift for every stance evade that happens. It does get a bit nauseous imo, but if I can get used to Guilty Gear's camera effects then I can probably handle Tekken's.

This is high level gameplay? This looks likes 1st Dan level button mashing

It’s not always about combo damage all the time. He puts out a lot of attack output and pressure on the opponents and makes good reads & I see him doing combos in all the matches.

The Paul blocks a dragon tail and doesn’t punish it. That’s beginner shit and that was only the biggest beginner level gameplay thing I saw out of a bunch of unpunished, unducked, missed opportunities that basically would never happen out of a green rank match.

I miss the simplicity of the classic games. It's all too fast and chaotic now. The feel good simplicity has kind of been lost amongst the spectacle with almost too much going on. It's less, say, methodical and now looks like a fast button masher. Also there's too much detail on their clothing to the point where their designs aren't really saying anything. There's no simple yet iconic look anymore to the characters designs. Tekken 1 to 4 to Tag Tournament is when Tekken ruled. Last thing - why have they all been beefed up to 11 & all look like they're on steroids? Looks cartoony as fuck lol. They all have the same bodies.

the thing about tekken now is, the combos are way longer than they used to be. but their more leninent in inputs, but the gameplay isnt all that bad, is outfits the end of the world, their probably gonna have some classic ones, or mods on pc if need be. complaining about graphics/looks lol.. well cant argue with that, some dont mind, some do

WHy is a cut scene on each K.O ? The black frame also appears between the intro of the fighters and the fight.. This is supposed to be a continuous scene like previous Tekkens

🔥 This game looks amazing! I think they should make a 2D fighting game of Tekken like mortal Kombat and street fighter. I'm really not into dashing anymore all the time in 3D Fighting games anymore. But the graphics looks truly amazing! The game is awesome as well. Street fighter vs Tekken on the PS3 is awesome and I still play it. Tekken plays awesome in 2D in street fighter vs Tekken🎮🎮

As a person whole follows the Japanese and Chinese culture I can tell you the designer did what they wanted and not tried to please gamers in this one…

I personally don't like a buff Law, he's supposed to be made after Bruce Lee which is why I chose him as my favourite character as a kid. This looks nothing like him :(

Jin Kazuja Paul Steve und noch maximal 3 andere sind für gute Spieler die man steuern können muss wo die kombos schwer sind aber der rest hier wo man nur eine Taste drücken muss er selbst alles macht alle raus samt alle aber es muss was für Anfänger da sein sonnst wäre es für Anfänger nicht interessant

too dark graphics with too many bright effects. We would have appreciated a cleaner and perhaps less rubbery design. mk1 understood this and returned to a revisited classic style. I'm sorry but Tekken hasn't been on the podium for several titles. today mk wins and I'm a huge tekken fan and a regular player since chapter 1 of the saga.
