Jin is not a mishima

Hmmm never thought about using it defensively but it actually makes sense because the options out of it could make or break the match. Need to try it out

I've been using this mixup at the walls a lot for big damage on a wall carry. It's guaranteed to hit confirm on an opponent if you finish with Savage sword (Db+2,3). Can combine this with your wave dash method after your first mixup if its a hellsweep. Strong stuff and great video :)

I’ve come to learn that while the combos you get out of omen aren’t the best damage wise, it truly shines as a defensive mix up tool that can both secure wins and start comebacks. Fairly situational but deadly when used at the right time

I always try to study what to do on hit like let's say a df1 connects on a jab string it gets philosophical lmao

I mainly just use omen 3 and the 3 df3. Very interested in the setups for defensive use tho. Will be trying this today

I havent used power stance ONCE in the past two weeks. Just hit Mighty Ruler and its wild how bad the stance is.

It's a defensive stance, better used when it hits, if you want the best part of the mixup. But you can still force it by using lows while in heat, since power stance hits mid, mix with wave dash or dash when you condition them to block low, once they realize you can use powerstance on those that duck while Jin is on heat, it's when they will start to have nightmares deciding if they should take the lows or if they should try and block them giving you a deciding winning game if you power stance instead

Random question, what clothes did u use for the Tekken 6 Jin with the trench coat ?

I like the idea of using it defensively, but it costs so much heat that personally, I only use it *after savage sword at the wall* since the hitbox trigger is guaranteed no matter what, even if the opponent stays on the ground or any ukemi.

As long as omen hits and they are not standing, it becomes harder to block it

Powerstance for me has only shined at the wall, especially when ppl don't wake up I'll hellsweep them then omen thunder for trying to block low thinking I'm gonna do a hellsweep

Try Demons hoof when power stance hits

perfect guide,however how am i supposed to hit 4 buttons at the same time on a xbox controller? and then be able to combo or putting all my fingers to do this omen move and have my guard opened?

You can bind buttons on the shoulder buttons

random question, thought i'd come to you for jin help lol. i see a lot of jins counter hitting forward 4, then dashing up for the back 3. but when i do it, jin goes into zen stance and i'm unable to dash. what am i not understanding? thank you!

You are holding forward after f4 hits, if you do that, it transitions into zen

@@DamageXcaling thank you for the reply, you are correct if i hit the f4 without holding forward i'm able to dash. however, i'm unable to dash in time for the back3 because the CH f4 makes them stagger back and fall down too quickly. are you able to consistently hit the b3 after counter hit f4? i might be just crazy and thinking this is possible.

It is, that's because you have to hit b3f and not b3 😂😂😂 I know it's weird but it's an inside joke among the Jin community, B3 and B3f are two different moves, b3 it's 16frames startup and has a worse hitbox than b3f which starts one frame earlier.

It's only fuzzyable on block, on hit it's Impossible, the only option they have os Guess right due hellsweep which can be delayed, it adds to all other options

what im getting from this is that ya'll are putting in a crapload of work to play devil jim for one move
