Heihachi was doing evil shit BEFORE Kazumi tried to kill him. Everyone seems to forget he betrayed Jinpachi and buried him alive in a basement lmao. Then he turned the peaceful Mishima Zaibatsu into a military that started wars. Heihachi was no hero Not to mention in Tekken 3 and Tekken 4 he was trying to create his own Devil to use for himself. He unleashed Ogre on the world just for power.

Likeicare usewe Heihachi was trying to prevent wars, not start them. In the Tekken 2 manual it states that Heihachi does desire peace. The problem that Jinpachi had is that Heihachi's means to peace were through conquest. In other words, he wanted to take over the world. MikeMad This makes Heihachi an anti-villain, that's very different from an anti-hero.

  • @likeicareusewe

    @likeicareusewe

That's called being a dictator. He didn't have any noble goals, he just wanted to rule the world. Getting peace through absolute conquest isn't heroic lol. He's just smarter about it than Kazuya is. Where Heihachi likes to manipulate the people into thinking he's good, Kazuya just immediately crushes anyone in his way (even though in Tekken 6 Kazuya acted just like Heihachi in manipulating people into thinking he was trying to save the world from Jin)

  • @Ninja07Keaton

Likeicare usewe No one is saying that conquest is heroic, that's the whole point. We aren't suppose to agree with Heihachi. Rather we like it or not, unity under dictatorship is still a means to peace, a very oppressive means to peace, but a means to peace nevertheless. Heihachi is still a villain, make no mistake about it, but he is among the anti-villain mold.

Lol yes they are, have you seen the comments here? They're calling him a hero and good guy. The comment right below mine is calling him the good guy and has 32 likes lmao And he isn't an anti villain. He had no heroic goal. He wasn't noble. He wanted to take the devils out because they were a threat to him, nothing more. He wasn't out for world peace, he just wanted to rule the world because he was obsessed with power. Once Kazumi challenged him, he went "shit Kazuya might turn to this and be a threat too, better take care of him" The interviewer even calls him out on his faulty logic of dropping Kaz off a cliff. He was perfectly willing to murder his son before he did anything, simply because he potentially was a threat to his neverending bid for power. Then in the most hypocritical move thus far, he schemed to take the Devil power for himself so he could be a Devil powered fighter He had world peace before Tekken 3, and he ruined it because he wanted more power, so he unleashed Ogre to the world and ruined a lot of lives doing that Then he did the same to Jin. He did it purely out of selfish reasons. It just so happens that the bigger threat was an even bigger asshole than him Jin is the anti villain. Heihachi is just a plain ol villain

This final battle broke me! Like seriously! Is there really no hope for Kazuya's soul? None whatsoever? I mean they clearly establish him as the real form of evil and next on the line to be defeated by Jin. But is that really all he is? Maybe I'm naive but I can't accept it. Kazuya is a victim first and foremost. And while my opinion about Heihachi has evolved as the truth unfolded, the fact remains: Kazuya was the one to pay for his mother's sins. Aaahhh! T8 is gonna be such a heart break! And what about Akuma? What will be his role in the next installment? Geez I have so many questions!!!

I agree that Heihachi's actions are more understandable, but that still does not excuse the actions that followed, starting with locking up his father, tossing his son (albeit one with devil's blood), and creating the Zaibatsu against his father's principals. Then there's that whole thing about world domination, like when he tried to retrieve Ogre's blood. So, no, he was no 'hero', not even the slightest. Both Heihachi and Kazuya were awful men, regardless of the bad things that happened to them. That said, I do have more empathy for Heihachi, and I happen to like Kazuya because he is such an evil bastard. ;p Also, story mode Devil Kazuya looks... uh... boss. For some reason, I like the multiple eyes on the wings and chest.

Inexcusable, given that people got hurt along the way, amongst other things. If this was his idea of bringing peace, it's a warped one, especially when it ultimately lead to a messed up world. The crap he went through having to deal with Kazumi makes me feel for him, but the stuff after that is outright wrong no matter the motivations. As the saying goes, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. At least he went out like a boss.

I understand why they took out Jin in this particular story. The purpose was for the original father and son feud to end. Had they included Jin, it would've been too messy. But given how this went down, the upcoming fight between Jin and Kazuya is gonna be the end for us all! Now they better keep Kazumi, give Azuka the role she ought to play and bring Jun back or I'm gonna riot!

I think the Hachijo Clan is the reason for all the evil in that family. I mean. Think about it. Lars doesn't have her blood and he isn't really showing any signs of being a dick, and Jinpachi war a nice guy as well. Heihachi was under her influence for a while..and he was scared to shits..But yeah Despite Heihachis "good" reason to do what he did, he isn't the hero of the story. He is more like an Anti-Villain ( A villain with "good" intentions). He is responsible for all that shit going down, he does have rotten morals and was a main Antagonist for the most part of the series. I guess his "evil" comes from his fear of what the devil gene could do to the world. Kazuya used to be the Anti-Hero but turned full on Villain later. However, since you can understand his hatred for Heihachi it isn't too hard to get behind the guy when he want's to take down the Mishima Zaibatsu for good - and therefore gain World Domination - however it still doesn't change the fact that he is THE villain of the story, especially as of right now. Jin used to be a Hero, in Tekken 6 it seemed he was a villain, but later was revealed to still be a Hero, more of an Antihero, like kazuya in tekken 1, though - he also has his issues.

  • @simplylew4598

Kazumi’s duty was to kill Heihachi if he ever does or tries to do something horrible. Kazumi didn’t want to do it but she had no choice. That’s also part of the reason why she wanted Akuma to finish her job for her if she failed to do so herself. Kazumi loved Heihachi, that’s why they started a family and had Kazuya but because of all the things that Heihachi has done, turning the Mishima Zaibatsu to an army and basically starting a world war, Kazumi has to step in and put an end to Heihachi’a crimes before Kazuya and soon later Jin goes down the same path as Heihachi.

Kazumi wanted to kill heihachi because he took over the mishima zaibatsu from jinpachi and militarized it. Heihachi was a threat to the world. Him wanting to kill his family doesnt make him a hero. A hero does things for the betterment of the world. For heihachi, the devil gene is just a score to settle.

i would have loved to know something about the hachijo, in the end they explained you 2 things but made you tons of questions. idk if namco will ever answer them or just let everything into mistery as they did with jun. to me, as it is, the story sucks, the END of something means the fucking end of something. i expected that everything to be revealed. i think hachijo clan is even more important than mishima as it is now, everything started because of them. to me kazuya is not a mishima but a hachijo, he got everything from them and so does jin, so probably the 'end of mishima saga' means the end of the real mishima: heihachi. everything seems a setup for tekken 8. and akuma is here only for marketing, ''she saved my life''? if you don't say what the heck happened to you since your power is absolute and almost immortal, you should not be in tekken story. i hope that if one day tekken games production will end, namco will explain all the fucking misteries :D

I agree with you pal. All the info i found was from the internet and not from the game. Hachijo clan is the half human , half demon hybrids who kill everyone who are threat to the world. It was about protecting the world . Hachijo sensed that their prediction would come truth and so they ordered kazumi to kill heihachi. But that was after she fell in love with him . Despite her feelings towards him , she had no choice but to do what clan told her. Its very emotional. I knew from what i found that Satsui No Hado and devil gene are similar powers sharing many resemblance. But it was never fully explained whats the connection. If Akuma was really connected, the developers should have explained everything including what Kazumi did for Akuma. Everything should have been explained in a proper way.

the question is, why throw him? if you throw him and he lives= he has the devil gene and he hate you. if he die= probably a normal Mishima kid so both are bad... yes they did a pretty good job in the writing but it still doesn't make any sense lol. it seems like they got themselves in trouble with the cliff thing. they couldn't give it a perfect reason.

In tekken games it speaks all in their original language and it is understood there are all multilanguage. Tekken or the game where you press like a nag just for a kick xD. Oh yeah, I hated the Heihachi character of all the Tekken. But when you learn why he did everything and right after his death, I dropped a small tear! I would have liked to see a little more of Jin, but it's too bad.

its fun to see that he once actually loved kazuya and kazumi.. but i keep question if kazumi actually was evil.. i mean was she born a devil? they did mention she suddenly collapsed all of the sudden during training.. makes me wonder if the devil possessed her and made her do such things.. as for heihachi.. i dont see a reason why he would suddenly take over his fathers company...

Tekken 7 Mishima Saga is really better than Tekken 6 Scenario Campaign because Tekken 7 has better battles than Tekken 6. I think that even playing Tekken 6 Scenario Campaign is something similar with Tekken 6 battles and the best Tekken is Tag Tournament 2. Tekken 7 is second

Tekken noob here: took me 2 HOURS to beat Kazuya's final form... I ended up spamming demon breath and the jumping mid kick thingy (f, df3) when at long range, till the last step when he's basically in berserk mode, I was running away laughing like a totally mad old fart( bb 3+4) then running kick him till death because I was eating his rage art all day and night at close range... I know I'm bad but I still feel dirty playing like that :D

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that nothing is either black or white. Everyone has done good and bad things. So reducing it to bad VS good is not only simplistic but also not reflective of the reality. And I'm sorry but I'm perfectly fine with the story so far. They need to save up some good stuff for T8 anyway. So bye!

Well, indeed. There is not much of Jin in the story doesn't necessary mean that the story wasn't good. I also wanted Jin to have more screentime (he is my fave char) but the story was about Hei and Kaz and their backstory (Mishima saga). At least t7 story is like a million times better than t6' s story.

Heihachi is definitely an anti hero I'd rather be under his rule than Kazuya. I've been a Kazuya fan for a long time and by the end of this story I found myself rooting for Heihachi. Heihachi definitely had his reasons for doing some of the things he did and it's clearly evident that Kazuya will never a protagonist again.
