Tekin G4 R2 Elite 17.5T Brushless Motor Test and Review

In this video, I test and review a Tekin G4-R2 Elite motor. I test the amperage, weight, and the rotor strength. Then I compare the results to some of the most popular race motors on the market. Stay until the end for a special feature.

@@wutupclegg6618 got my motor and raced my car Friday night. And it is exactly as what you described. A little slower with the same gearing compared to my last motor however switched from a 30 to 32 pinion and the car rips faster than before and the motor temps are looking great. Alot of torque. Thanks dude. Great data. Seems like a powerful motor. Would you be able to make a video testing each of the motors out in a 2wd with a good driver to compare the differences on-track? Would be even more awesome. 🙂

@@wutupclegg6618Definitely agree re:driving styles and tracks. even though you and I believe in this type of scientific approach you also acknowledge that there are different ways to interpret the same data. I think if you give people that context and explain where each motor has strengths and weaknesses that this is as much about education as it is about buying what is the 'best' motor for us that people will appreciate this. Anyways, thanks again for all your work.

An outlaw has a lot more torque. It can be geared to go much faster than a ROAR legal motor. As long as it's a name brand outlaw.

What surface are you racing on? Even though you're a rooking, having the best motor is still a good thing. You just tune it to your comfort level and it will allow you to advance quickly. From all the ones I tested, I have heard the most positive reviews on the Surpass V6 Stock Spec. In fact, I haven't heard any bad feedback about them. However, the other motors, in my tests, are very good. Second, I would choose the Tekin G4 R2 Elite. Then again, it does depend on the surface you are racing on.
