I like the way that when Teeny (who like most here, I've followed with great interest for a couple of years) sees you coming, her whole aspect changes and she relaxes in your company. In following her I've learned so much about these macaques, their mother son/daughter relationships, their social structures, their diet, and all that is knowledge I certainly didn't have. But also I've had rare chance, through the unobtrusiveness of your camera, to be able to assume a subject position in their midst, as if I'm looking 'from' them, not 'at' them. When Teeny has felt vulnerable, I've felt vulnerable, when she's happy, her rare sense of joy feels internal, not as a moment felt by a young monkey far away. For me, the most evocative episode was when you filmed Teeny with that lone male at that isolated and empty feeding station, and guided her to where her group was. I think you and that male monkey are brothers in a sense, at least for those moments. So, I thank you and your eye for detail, your unobtrusive style, and most of all - your compassion.

Oh I loved this so much. Kept getting flashbacks of when she would escape her mum and go foraging for the smallest crumb. She was and is a true surviver and thanks to your intervention she made it. How is it possible to love this beautiful little so much from so far away here in bonnie Scotland. 🥰 Thank you for all your videos

Golden Hill is paradise compared to the temple locations in Cambodia. The monkeys in average are in much better shape and far less aggressive.

Such a joyful video with the old friends, feels good ! They always keep the old charm of themselves making Arros happy and everyone else, so wonderful ! So many surprises today , Thank you Arroz again ! Love it !

Tiny is so smart and strong, I remember at an early age she has to foraged to survive life, she is fighter indeed.

Excellent commentary on Tina’s family. I really enjoyed the up close with Teeny and her likely father. He is probably Tinys to, wouldn’t you say? Great to see all the youngsters with Skullhead, and his second, Scarface, perhaps?

Hard to believe that Teeny is 2 already. She was so small while growing up around Tina.

It's nice how they all know you. I like seeing teeny stick up for herself.

@@tngrandma242 i was just thinking about our conversations about Teeny when i saw you had replied.. remember that time she was soaked to the skin with the rain pelting down but still scavenging for crumbs?.. that broke me..i was sobbing after seeing that..now look at this special girl..i always said she deserved to live because she never gave up..never cried about going hungry or having her hard sought out food stolen i said she had true grit and hasn't she turned out well..lost her puppy fat too now.. not a bad weekend actually..birthday yesterday..my nephew forgot but I don't mind..I'm passed celebrating birthdays..a friend asked me what I'm doing and i said just the usual..she is the same age as me but she goes off on one if she doesn't get cards or people don't make a fuss..so childish..i will say selfish..yes i still call her a friend but nowhere near as close as we once were..she turned on me and said the most hurtfull things then at the end said you're a 💩 friend anyway.. and I don't blow my own trumpet very often but I know for a fact I'm a bloody good friends. .to my own detriment at times so i can say how selfish she is and not feel like a hypocrite...🇬🇧💞✝️🙏👏👏👍🙉🙊🙈🐒

❤️ so great to see them all relaxed and playful or nosy, even the elder males! The old friendly males maybe are no alphas anymore but still important figures in a troop especially for the kids.

Teeny approached the camera, she is a friendly little monkey!!!

I'm sad there are no new videos to watch this morning. I always look forward to late Sunday night or early Monday morning but I guess you must be tired arroz or something came up that there are no new Sunday videos this week. You do such a wonderful job. Sorry I couldn't watch the last video from Friday night. I saw those things happen and it was just too heart breaking to see it again.

Tiny is starting to look like a young adult male, not so much a kid anymore. Tina looks better than ever. Regular food and having some grooming from the kids helps I bet. That male with the acid washed face still has good bones and build so I think you are right that he was a looker before someone did that cruelty to him.
