Teen who dreamed of being a soldier holds back emotion as proud dad patches him 🇺🇸
A teenager who always dreamed of being a soldier has gone viral after his father shared a video of his son holding back tears of pride during his patching ceremony. Jordan Polito asked his dad Kenneth to do the honor of patching him during his graduation from training to become a soldier in the United States Army. In the wholesome footage, Kenneth can be seen walking towards his son as he stands to attention with his fellow graduates. Then, as Kenneth places the patch on his son's arm, Jordan can be seen visibly moved, choking up and fighting back tears as his father places the patch on his arm. The moment took place on September 2, after Jordan completed his basic training at Fort Benning in Georgia. According to Kenneth, the family thought Jordan might pursue a baseball scholarship because of his talents in the sport, but Jordan had always dreamed of enlisting into the U.S. Army.

Yeah become another rapist psycho in another foreign war that's what happened to PFC #lavenaJohnson the military said it was suicide yeah two shots in the back of my head and a contractor's tent she had only been in Iraq for 2 weeks of course they still can't explain why that she cut out her vagina import bleach all over the genital area man that's a hell of a way to commit suicide no the bleach was to come up any trace of sperm. YEAH I FORGOT THE LAST PART SHE WAS SET ON FIRE IN A F****** CLOTH TENT THAT BELONGED TO A CONTRACTOR WOW WHAT A HELL OF A WAY TO GO. Funeral was a closed casket funeral until the family said this don't sit right and they had her body dug up in an independent forensic specialist said I'm sorry to inform you but it's not an ordinary suicide in the case is closed for the FBI in the army CID is concerned

I can feel all the emotions and pain for the soldiers that were not patched by “anyone”. Nothing more depressing then watching everyone you train with get patched by their fathers, mothers, wives, brothers, friends, while you stand at attention, watching from your own personal hell from the corner of your eye. Some of these soldiers family may have had a reason, but most come to the realization that after hopping on that bus to their duty station, it will be just them and them alone from here out. If you ever go to a ceremony, and see a soldier not pinned or patched by anyone, please take the time to honor him and pin him yourself, it will stay in his memory forever like it did mine.

I saw a tap out video where a soldier was standing there for over an hour because there was no one to tap him out. He was an orphan and didn't have many friends. He stood there and never broke formation but you could see in the video there were tears on his face. A random stranger came and tapped him out then hugged him and the soldier was so happy. All the stranger said was: "You are loved. Thank you for your service." We need more people like that in this world.❤❤
That father could eat razor blades and not flinch. Adrenaline and emotional control beyond human. Thank God those men live among us now.

Dad, both you and son have something in common 💓. This is known as gumption and braveness. Bravo
Our son is in basic right now. He has been wanting to go into the military for a while. Awesome dads make awesome soldiers. Prayers for all of the military families.

One of the only people in the world that can make a man cry is his father
Well done Son! Congratulations proud prior service Father. Thanks for raising em’ up mentally tough and enough to confident under the concepts of consequence and to deal with, suffer through, perhaps save a few of his fellow soldiers and perhaps survive whatever’s coming so he can come home someday to hear his father say well done my Son come on into the house, we have eternity to talk things over.
bruhh I almost teared up. As a parent, i felt this emotion.

I’ll agree about being proud to be his son but to call this a great nation definitely not.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, a man that doesn't cry is an animal.

A very touching moment for a warrior. We didn't have this special tradition back in the 80s. We walked off the field headed to AIT the next day.😮
