Some kids don't have a choice. The United States failed to protect them for the worst of the worse. Sometimes kids don't notice the gravity of situations until it too late. The main stream media and companies that profit from violence need to be held accountable in my opinion. We have to get serious about what's being put in front of our kids.

As a kid who lived a double life this is 1000% true . I was 16 15 17 I told my mom I was inna gym playing ball . I was really in a staircase getting high hanging wit the wrong crowd. Only by the grace of the most high I made it home each and every day.

The community is its own worst enemy. Someone and/or people saw who did it, but of course theres no suspect. Smh

Why don't people in this community organize community patrol groups and patrol the streets on the regular? The police force isn't present, so maybe the community should show up for itself? Back in the early 2000s, Chinatown in Boston had major crime issues, and they organized these community patrols with uniforms and everything, and they worked in conjunction with the police. It WORKED really well, crime dropped, people felt safer, and businesses thrived again. These communities are useless and lazy, and constantly say, "it needs to stop, it needs to stop." Well, maybe stop creating messed up FERAL CHILDREN who run around the streets all day and all night, and start taking ACTION. I'm so sick of the lack of action from these people.

When crime were down there were few community patrols in NYC, even if they had one they had few members. The difference back then was law enforcement were able to do their jobs and they did it well.
