The fact that each team member keeps in a place that means something to them, like Sam keeps it behind the Nigerian team photo, Jamie keeps it in the book he got from Ted, Isaac keeps it strapped in with the captain's band, shows that Ted and his coaches have truly impacted the team in a deep and personal way. I love this show so much.

Since I was 17 (military now 50 retired a long time ago) I can tell you the names and faces of the men that inspired me like Ted Lasso inspired his team. If you do get the rare chance to follow one of these great leaders, take it in and remember that there aren’t many like them and allow yourself to be in awe of their talent.

I know some may say this scene is overdone... But man it had to be. This moment... Is so damn beautiful... To see the growth of every single individual in this club. Not just the starters, not just Rebecca, not just the kit man, not just the assistants but every single person in this club has been influenced and improved by this man. And he was damn proud of who they grew to be. Yes they may not need him anymore. They may all be at a point in their lives where they are ready to go to the next challenge but they ALL carry a piece of him with them. And that's what this scene represented. Ted changed their life. He now will always be a part of them going forward no matter where or what or how they choose to live it. They may be ready to move on but there's no mistaking, Ted Lasso will forever be a part of who they are. You couldn't illustrate this simple message any better... Quoting another franchise hear that I think applies... "We are what they grow beyond... That is the true burden of all masters."

It's so gratifying to see a show revel in personal growth, joy, and friendship. There's no real "villains", just people making mistakes and learning from them. It's so wonderful. Colin kissing his man at the end made me cry. When I was a kid I never thought I'd see the day where a gay kiss is treated exactly the same as any other.

Ted Lasso was luminous and inspiring It reminded us of the bedrock of ethics, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. Not to be confused by this new dark rule, “do unto others before they do unto you “. Life is hard and the path forward is often obscured by our own clutter. Do away with all the unnecessary layers of drama and prejudice. Let in the light through the cracks of humor, kindness and love. If you find going through life is easy, you’re not doing it right. I wrote this before the final episode because, whatever happens then, nothing short of a plane crash will dim my love for this show. It’s not about the wins and losses , they’re now all better versions of themselves (except Rupert) and the best is yet to come. We will miss those characters but I won’t mind if the story telling stops here. We have the gift of imagination, let’s use it to make them live on in our hearts. RT Montréal PS Kudos to JS who clearly followed his gut in creating this show but we should also have a thought for the Apple exec who gave the green light.

One amazing attribute of this show is the subtle portrayal of emotions that often tell a whole story without saying a word. A typical example of this was in this whole scene especially at 3:39 when the players bend down to piece together their pieces of the poster. Just as everyone bends down, Nate's eyes meet the eyes of coach Lasso. A bewildered shrug of shoulders follows as if saying ' you were right, shattering a poster can not shatter the beliefs of these players'. Coach Lasso nods in acknowledgement as if saying ' told you so'. And within a matter of few tiny seconds, a whole story has been told

There is so much going on in this scene unsaid that speaks to how great these actors are... the reflection in Beard's and Roy's face as they realize it's all coming to an end... the struggle in Ted's face when he instinctively turns to the "BELIEVE" sign and it's not there... the impish contentment in Sam's face as he takes the first piece of the sign to the table... the glances between Ted and Nate... Nate almost breaking into tears as he looks down and away from Ted... the hopeful look on Trent's face as he edges to the scrum... the tiniest lip-twitch from Maas when Ted says "There ain't a whole lot of places like AFC Richmond either". So. Much. Going. On.

Third season was the best season. I heard a lot of people stopped watching after the second season and I have no idea why that was the case. I know modern critics like subversion of expectations, but they’re stupid cynical clowns. There’s nothing wrong with a show giving you what you want, especially when they execute it perfectly like Ted did. One of my favorite series of all time. I introduced this show to my best friend after I watched the first two seasons alone and we watched the third season together and the whole time we were remarking about how fulfilling the show was. Not even to mention the futbol sequences were phenomenal this season, truly allowing their action body doubles to show off the chemistry they picked up with one another over three seasons of filming. A triumph of a show.

@@coachfrakersclass7498I think what meant more to him was the fact that Ted looked over at him and smiled and didn’t say any about Trent joining in, the entire scene you could see Trent walking over and Ted didn’t even hesitate about it. Ted and tenet together were amazing. Trent was probably my favourite character along with Roy in the final season.

Just been watching a few shorts of this series which I'd never heard. Love it! Only drawback is now I'm going to have to sign up to Apple TV to watch it ☹️

NGL when they all pulled out pieces of the sign and put them on the bench, it wrecked me.

@@PHDiaz-vv7yo Yes, but there was no Richmond Way without there first being a Ted Lasso to teach them how to be a team.

Quite reminiscent of Hoosiers with the “I love you guys”. Hoping more shows/movies of this quality are on the horizon.

This show did a nice job using a sport to demonstrate the value of genuine human integrity. Who can’t relate to that?

This scene is a mashup of two movies about Indiana sports: the state tournament locker room scene from Hoosiers and the jersey scene from Rudy. The writers on this series know their classic film and TV.

So many subtle things.. but the thing that hits hardest is do you notice Trent Crimm isn't writing whats happening down @ 3:22? He is in the moment..living it. instead of trying to articulate it for his book like in other scenes. The writer of this show is one of the best at consistency within character arcs.. I would love to see an American spin off where a British manager came to America to help the worst team in the MLS.

The look between Ted and Nate. Goes back to their earlier talk when they both say they still see the sign on the wall. Maybe because it was still there in the dressing room.
