Thanks Buddy, great video. Do you condition your boots or they might get darker? I got a pair of Durango Westwards with cowboy heels and happy with it although very thick and stiff leather...

Hello there, Bcreedland Because I work at a school nowadays, I hardly walk around dirt or grass, I normally walk on asphalt, carpet, or concrete. As you know, there are no real contaminants, so my boots are mostly kept clean. I have cleaned them with a shoe brush without any shoe polish creams or paste. I am going to give them a good polish soon. Also, I have been thinking about giving them a good waterproofing coat. However, as of today, I have not decided which brand to use. These Tecovas boots are the first cowboy boots that I have ever owned. Today, I have a total of three pairs! Stay tuned, and I will upload a video once I'll decide to give my boots a good leather conditioning treatment.. Thank you for stopping by my humble channel and for watching my videos. Mike, they are not only nice, but they feel amazing on your feet. The Tecovas company has found the correct combination of fine leathers, and these boots are just worth every penny. I highly recommend these boots to everyone seeking to get an awesome pair of cowboy boots. Thank you for watching my videos. It is much appreciated.

great video!! you mentioned in the video to polish your pair of square toe boots, if you were to do that, im not too sure of the leather, but if it is a pair of goat skin ( as put on the website), you will need a different kind of conditioner. if you use a regular leather polish\conditioner it will mess up the texture.

Hello there, Matt I haven't polished them as of yet. I have been issuing them regularly, but since I have three pairs, I rotate them, and all I do is use a regular shoe brush and clean up any dirt. The leather is actually smooth and very soft to the touch. I do not believe it would get damaged, but I will give it a try one of these days.

How does the sizing compare to RW iron rangers? I was told they run true to size so I just ordered a pair of the Doc in size 9D as I usually wear a size 9-9.5 in sneakers and wear a size 8.5 D in Iron rangers.

Heló there, Stephenmoses I used to have a pair of suede boots, but they were not cowboy style boots as they were short (slightly above the ankles). Those boots were very soft and comfortable to wear. I imagine that the suede cowboy boots should be very comfortable as well. Tecovas make a few models that are made with suede, but I do not have them. The unfortunate situation is that Tecovas does not have a store in every city in the United States, and if you would like to try a pair, the only way would be to purchase a pair online.

​ I have never owned a pair of Boulet boots, although a friend of mine has one pair of Boulets and one pair of Tony Lama boots. I called him on the phone, and he said that he likes the Boulets over the Tony Lamas because the Boulets were a lot softer than the Tony Lamas, but he does like them both, as they are made with good quality materials and workmanship.

No sir, although not known for being too pricey or “exotic” they are very well known for being work boots and are worn by plenty of people. Good boots to have for work and or casual dress.

More considered as work boots/ranch boots than dress boots, which is more what tecovas are. That being said, ariats are known for being tough and are the go to for work, perfectly fine for casual wear as well if you want a tough boot without spending too much.
