Hello! I have a question! I am an intermediate level, let's say a 3.5! I would like to know what benefit it gives you to put the strings in different tensions being the same string?

The Mains provide the power... the cross strings are for bite on the ball. The cross strings having the lower tension will move and snap back more. This also relieves some pressure on the frame itself.

If you were to go hybrid with this and hyper g soft, which would be on the mains for you?

Hello, i've been using x-one biphase lately , they are very arm friendly but they lack spin and control, do you think triax can be an upgrade without losing much?

Hi Espada88… Tecnifibre Triax is a 50%. Multi filament and 50% Polyester, whereas X-One Biphase is 100% multi filament. The short answer is YES!

Hy why on hard triax will last longer than clay?

You need to remember that clay courts have water... this effects the ball which ultimately effects the string. Don’t forget most shots on clay will also have more spin on every shot. The reason is the balls are slower... this will cause the strings to slide and fray quicker than on a hard court.

@@agradina ... I wouldn’t exactly say that. I think it depends on if you are a string breaker or not.

The main strings supply the power… the cross strings grip the ball. Actually differing the tension also preserves the frame integrity of the racquet.
