    If I didn’t already have a fairly new ride this one for where and what I ride would be a really awesome machine. I don’t need a turbo they’re sweet but my terrain is tight and wooded. Also curious on how it compares to the Kawasaki which would be my other choice.

    With the price difference between the different models does it make since to purchase the sport model and use the money saved for aftermarket upgrades?

    I had a 2015 and now have a 2024 XP4. 2 questions, why is the 2024 so much louder? And the 2024 is geared much much lower, went to 32” tires right away. Is the skid plate adequate or do you need an after market?

    Good luck in liberal North Carolina. Sorry to hear they won't let you use Shocky in your sign. The guy on there said there are a lot of conservatives there. They aren't the ones triggered, bro. It is the liberals. Love your shocks and the straps.

    The polaris front dif doesn't need a "locker" as it locks up and stays locked up when you need it automatically. I've never been disappointed in my 2017 xp41000 6k miles and it's still locks up everytime within 1 rotation and unlocks when you let off the gas

    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts on this!! ... So I recently bought a '24 XP4 Premium. I also have a '21 XP Sport 2 seater. I've only been riding SxS for a short while, so I admit I'm somewhat of a newbie. One big difference that I noticed immediately is the lower gearing. I haven't actually had the 24 out on the trails yet, still working on getting it accessorized and waiting on some time off from work. But just riding it around the neighborhood, it actually seems slower and less powerful than the 21, but runs substantially higher RPMs, like around 6000 at 30 mph. But in this video and comments, it is mentioned how the gearing/clutching is way better than the previous factory set-up. So what am I missing here? Now again, I've only driven it around my neighborhood a few times, so I haven't been able to really lay into the throttle to see what happens (lots of neighbors that could potentially call the cops if I did), but the fact that it runs 6k at 30mph in High-range concerns me... I mean what kind of RPMs will I see if I wanna go 50-60mph? And are those RPM levels safe for sustained runs of 5 or 10 miles to get from one trail to another? (We mostly ride Hatfield McCoy in W Va.) Of course, my instinct is to trust that the design engineers at Polaris have thought all this through and have built us a machine that's better than ever... but I've read some posts in forums and what-not where some folks are putting on larger tires and/or changing the clutching to make their machines more like the previous versions. Is that wise or a mistake? Thanks for any input you may have.

    Got the two seater base version two weeks ago. I've done 500 miles on rough mountain trails in central Arizona. I'm noticing a click noise on from the left rear under compression in tight turns. Haven't figured out if it's the differential, axle joint, or maybe even the clutch or shock? Running the shocks on "0" all around; haven't bottomed out the shocks or the chassis yet. Will be looking at your springs and tuning service. Any reason not to set the shocks to max stiffness for street driving?

    How does the new XP 1000 compare to other cars in its class such as the KRX 1000? What would you buy?

  • @ShockTherapyllc

    @ShockTherapyllc

    The KRX is the best from a chassis and geometry stand point. Works the best and strongest. But it’s a turd on power. If you drive fast then XP. If you drive slow then KRX for sure

    In the market for a 4 seat SxS. Mostly mountain trail riding, but want a spirited ride too. Between this new 2024 RZR XP4 (Sport or Premium, can't afford Ultimate) and a leftover yr XP4 PRO Sport, which would be better? Don't need a turbo, but if I can get both machines for the same price, which is the better machine?

  • @ShockTherapyllc

    Billet refers to a solid chunk of material from which a part is machined. It’s usually billet aluminum but it can be a steel billet like 4130 or chromolly.

    So i have the 2024 xp 4 seater. Drove about 30 miles on rough pothole roads. 3 of my shocks the reservoirs were very hot and the left rear had no heat in the reservoir at all. Why would that happen. Thanks

  • @ShockTherapyllc

    @ShockTherapyllc

    Ай бұрын

    First. Hot reservoir is a relative thing. Operating temps are 150-280 degrees. So unless you left skin on the resi when you touched it, then it’s not too hot. Right rear has exhaust next to it so it’s always warm. Left rear not at all. So the fronts work harder than the rears on this unit. That’s normal. But it’s also not right. Spring kit and valving balances the loads and you would have equalized temps not to mention a way plusher and killer ride.

To be able to tune out the harsh ramp up that happens sometimes with smart shocks. Is that still being developed or has it been abandoned.
