Bought a 2022 model for our 60 acre ranch. It was great. 2 months later we moved to the coast, not so great as it struggled in sand. Loved the machine tho, great trail rig, awesome suspension and a good enuff stereo. I miss it.

I use my 570 sportsman for everything . The only drawback is plowing snow . It gets kinda cold 🥶.

I have a SXS with the latching side handles. You are correct, it is dumb. They're noisy (rattle) at idle sometimes too.

Nice SXS I have the 2021 model.. really great to do trails and work around the house the few downfalls are the front diff only kicks in if there's slippage on the rear wheel so to fix that problem is Tru-lok and the suspension sag.. this issue usually happens after a few hundred miles the tender springs collapse and then you loose ride height and the ride quality degrades.. 2 ways of fixing the issue is either replace the tender springs with the zbros or crank those threaded collars on the suspension to regain the factory ride height and adjust the dial on the piggy backs to soft.. I went with the second option for now and was able to get a better ride quality that when I first got my machine.. and I took the sway bars out front and back for the type of driving I do.

Does Polaris offer an extended warranty for there side x sides like can am offers a total of 30 months. Thanks. I’m trying to decide between a general and a ranger.

Does that ever happen to you, where you say the same word like 15 times in 1 minute? I do it all the time.

Just wondering how your General is doing. I have the same 2023 General XP 1000 Premium but without the Ridecomand. I have 32 hours on mine and I still like it except it has lots of squeaks rattles and wierd noises is yours any quieter ?

I am loving it so far. And no mine is not any better. I hear all kinds of squeaks. Its pretty annoying honestly. Also the seats seem very loose. I pulled them a part to see if theres a way to tighten them and theres not.

My seats are the same drivers side is noisy and doesn't want to adjust this should have been fixed during the initial setup. So far I still like it Polaris is very popular everywhere and they sell a lot of them. I owned 2 Kawasakis before and I believe The build quality on the Japanese ones like Kawasaki and Yamaha seem better. I'll let you know if I have anything else wrong besides the transmission leaking I told you about earlier.

I rented something similar in AZ but it was insanely noisy, so much I couldn’t hear my wife complaining, oh wait, it was great. Seriously though, is this one really loud on the trails?

Haha. No i dont think its loud at all. Its has a stereo in it and you can listen to that no problem.

We are thinking of trading our Ranger for a General but our only concern is the floor heat. Has that been an issue for anyone?

I havent had an issue with that. Theres nothing under the floor to radiate heat. Im always wearing work boots so its hard for me to say.

No floor heat problem at all . I bought a new 2023 General XP 1000 Premium about a month ago. Had a major problem right at new. Transmission leaked fluid.without even looking at it Dealer knew what was wrong they had others also . The transmission goes together in 2 halves . They had to pull the trans. separate the halves and reseal. It was an 8 hour job. But I love it lots of power super comfy seats handles great looks awesome. I got the gray color glass windshield and rear glass.and a 5 year extended warranty and maintenance package.

Too noisy inside and I don’t like the canvas doors. Should have solid doors like the ranger ultimate for the price tag.

In your opinion which do you think is quieter…. The Polaris ranger you had or your new Polaris general? Also. What grade gas is needed or required for both the ranger xp or the general you have. Thank you and great video. I will subscribe

@@ethanh9535 for the most part i can. You can hear the radio fine. I mean it is an offroad machine so there is some engine noise. Especially when you get on it. When your cruising its fairly quiet. Ill have to include some kind of a sound test in the next video i make with it.
