Tech Tip For Your Smart Probes

There are many options for "low loss fittings" out there. These are the fittings I use for all my smart probes. They are CPS Swivel Tees from Trutech Tools. You can pick up a two back for about $20. Excellent product and for the price, nearly impossible to beat.
Be sure to check out our full Amazon storefront to see all the products and tools I use. This also helps our channel grow!

You use the fully open port on the end of the adapter to charge with (where you hook you charging hose)? If this is the case the probe and the charging hose will have to installed on the adapter before installing on unit or you will take a bath in refrigerant

Did your tees come with schrader cores in both adapter ends? I just got some from TTT and only one side has a valve in it. The other fitting on the end of the adapter is wide open

I have 8 of them but this cheap tee can add or remove refrigerant without having to pull a valve core every time. This is a superior method.

@@HVACinSCI have a quick question, I just purchased the same smart probes, I see you put the blue and red sticker on does it matter which you choose for the high side or low side? or is that for you just to verify? I noticed that they have numbers on the back but the same product number 549i , much appreciated

I ordered those from trutech. They took my money with no problem. But when I put a track on the shipping on them. It says shipped, waiting for part. But it sure hasn't shown up. Tried e-mail with trutech, they put me on hold for a half hour. I know their moving to a different building. Per earlier e-mail message from them. But dang ??? Logistics I guess. Humm
