@@JulioCesar-ep3jx No playback here, you obviously lack attention to details, these musicians are monsters. BTW, didn't notice that you don't hear the bass guitar? I can point you hundreds of details showing it's really played, moreover, the studio version doesn't sounds the same at all with the typically 80's gated drums. This is a rehearsal in a studio. TFF has ALWAYS hired top notch backing bands since everyone from the original team - and they were all top notch- left and Orzabal hired "mercenaries" kzread.info/dash/bejne/gp-bxpWtdbWXqaw.html Same team here. "like artists today" as said by EVERYONE that think their generation had the only good music. Go watch any song from the last 70 years on youtube and half the comments will be about how music these days is trash in comparison. "like artists today" as said by EVERYONE that think their generation had the only good music. Go watch any song from the last 70 years on youtube and half the comments will be about how music these days is trash in comparison. Even songs made less than 10 years ago people claim the exact same thing. Let people enjoy what they enjoy, just like those before your time should have.

I was a teenager in the '80s and adored Tears for Fears. It's awesome to see they're still performing at the very high level that they always have. This song is a timeless classic for a reason. 38 years after its release and it still sounds fresh and exciting. Perhaps it's an old man thing to say, but it geniunely sounds better to me than any of the modern songs in the Top 40 charts today. Thank you, Tears for Fears, for the decades of joy and emotion I have derived from your music.
I’m from USA. One of my fondest memories was in the Dublin Ireland standing on a street corner and hearing this song coming out of a record store. I looked over at my traveling companion and we smiled and nodded “yeah me too”. Priceless

Всем привет.Я из Кыргызстана.Мне 31. Мы с папой слушали эту песню далеком 2004 году .Папа, я скучаю по вам.
I remember coming home from school, throwing over there my backpack, turning on MTV listening this mesmerizing music, dreaming of my beauty schoolie girl, thinking life is so good and nice, living my last days of innocence... before life gone adult in a sinuous way...NOW in my 50' s close my eyes and fly away that time, and I start to cry, I can't explain why. My friends are gone, the pandemic took my father and I'm not the man inside that child I was, and maybe is mature to think that is allright to accept that life is just what it is. @@71calex I believe the bass on EWTRTW was originally recorded using a synthesizer. As for the vocals on *this* performance, it’s quite possible that autotune was used.
thank you for the jams.
one of my all time favourite songs, thank you
Considering some people don’t age well musically, I’m amazed they still sound almost the same. Love it, as well as that solid drumbeat. This was great 🥰
Tears For Fears are back, The physical appearance are change but the music still remains the same. I'm a big fan of Tears For Fears from Philippines. Long live TFF

Roland Orzabal just like he makes whatever kind of music he wants, he also looks like he wants. Long hair, natural gray/white beard and hair. It suits him well!

One of my all time favorites. 👍🏽
I don't understand why rock bands can't produce great music like this anymore! I have bought everything that Tears for Fears ever produced. While this song here is their top hit, I also absolutely love their 1993 album, Elemental, which rocked every bit as good as their earlier songs, but for some reason never got the same radio play.
How is this still soooooooo good? This song is heaven sent.
Such a timeless classic! God I loved growing up in the 80s!

Radio in the 80's was out of the world. And we listened to radio. There was no Apple Music or KZread around.
