Perfectly said....we were lucky to grow up with the best music EVER! I love seeing My IDOLS sing and perform as they mature. Saw him live at the Warfield in SF, general admission, in like the late 90's and it was rockin and packed! Shoulder to shoulder on the floor, the good ole days!!

I was given Rebel Yell for Christmas in 83 along with Diary of a Madman, Pyromania, Sports, and Eliminator. It was a great year for a 13yr old.

This is how you age gracefully. Take a highly produced song from your past, strip it down, sprinkle in some incredible talent, some feeling and technique, and show us that it was even better than we thought it was. And we thought it was AMAZING!

Steve stevens has been Billy idols gutarist since the 80s, is considered the second most skilled music session player in all of america, a gifted flamenco player and a man who doesn't get near enough credit for what he brings.

Tipping my hat to 2 talented individuals here. Just Billy Idol singing, no autotuning here folks, that's just him and his ability to sing. And Steve Stevens, just a guy playing a guitar in real life, no computer, just him with his abilty to play a tune. These 2 guys are a great example of when music had a soul, when you really had to be able to sing to sell records. I miss the 80s. I love you Billy Idol and thank you for being the soundtrack during my life as a teenager. Hearing your voice brings me back.

Not sure I would call it better, but he certainly is well aware about its limits and uses it accordingly. He never goes to hard on the high notes and instead allows his voice to be hoarse. He drops the pretension of range in favor of adding character. Which only makes him appear more confident.

Steve Stevens thru the last few decades has been and will always be a phenomenal guitar player from Billy Idol's recordings to Vince Neil's Band "Exposed" LP admired by Eddie Van Halen & many other amazing famous top guitarists around the World 🌎 Hat's off to Billy's vocals and choice of one-of-a-kind greatest guitarists alive still today to entertain all of us .. o;)

I spent the summer of 84 in the hospital after a car accident. I'd sing along with this song on my Walkman. Until late one night the other patients complained that my singing was keeping them up 😄 Still love Billy!

Some people argue that living in the 80s was the greatest time since music was the greatest, but i argue that modern time is the best of all, because we have access to all this songs by simple typing on a rectangle, while back then we have to look through magazines, radios and random encounters.

I feel the same way...... So fucking nostalgic......... We were so happy back in those days.....

Controlled vocals, beautiful stance, excellent lyrics, direct eye contact where it counts, displays confidence and humility with this song. Singers/musicians learn from this. You are brilliant Billy Idol!

No Autotune, no wall of guitar effects, nothing from a tape or tablet. Just a great singer and a extraordinary guitar player. Thats music how it should be.

Steve is the best guitarist! Not because of technical skills, but because of his understanding and ability! He is my favorite!

Billy’s Singing is still amazing… aged like fine wine. Same compliments go to Stevens! An amazing duo!❤️

Yes I was born in 1985 but still got to enjoy this music on the radio when I was a teen and didn't even understand English but loved the pop songs in English and I still do now that I understand them ❤️

I was 13 when this was released. Im 51 today. I miss the late 70s and early 80s

I don't even realize how much anxiety I carry around with me all of the time, until I listen to this and it gives me 6 minutes of absolute peace. Magical. 😌🙏

I suffered from anxiety a few years ago myself and my family helped me first and foremost but music helped me get though it as well! Music is such great therapy. Hope your doing well.

I'm the same way! For the last year or so, if I'm ever stressed or anxious, I'll just put this on and it calms me right down. 😌😌

I don't know how I ended up here this morning , but I was just transported back in time , chills from head to toe..

This guy is absolutely amazing. I wish so badly to have 80's again...And Steve is like flirting with the guitar. Oh my, this brings me tears upon a smile...

The stakes are high performing in a setting like this. This is not for rookies or unrehearsed aging rock stars. I wasn't sure when I saw the thumbnail but they both absolutely nailed it.
