Team Wendy Cam Fit retention system, Review Part 1
Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video we are checking out the Team Wendy Camfit Chinstrap (XL) in Coyote Brown. This was purchased for my Airsoft replica Ops-core helmet and current kit build and I am very excited to get this thing some use.
I have been wanting to try out the Team Wendy chinstrap for some time now but it has not been in the cards however I recently decided to pull the trigger on one and was very happy that I did. The BOA is IMHO an improvement on the Ops-Core and its system which isn't terrible but compared to the Team Wendy feels considerably less comfortable when worn for long durations. I can say the Ops-Core Worm dial is nice but I think I do prefer the Team, Wendy, overall.
The Team Wendys chinstrap adjustment system is very convenient and I like how once set they lock in and require you to go out of your way to unlock the buckles to make adjustments. This allows you to set it and forget it. The chin cup has a nice feel and is very comparable to the Ops-Core so there both systems are fairly equal (Real Ops-Core that is).
This is an amazing upgrade to the fake Occdial that was in the helmet, I honestly recommend getting genuine helmet straps when possible as they really do make for a more comfortable ride 90% of the time. I picked this chinstrap up from USPATRIOTTACTICAL for 120.00$ USD with a coupon. The Cam Fit retails for 150.00$ USD. You can find the chinstrap a the following link:

I really do like this chinstrap over the Occ-Dial that was in the Replica Ops-Core High Cut I have been using and think if you are looking for a good chinstrap option that has the same retention options as an Ops-Core but IMHO more comfortable the Team Wendy is a great option. I cannot find the video on the cushion pads you have on the upper left of the screen, i guess it is not released yet? I have a pair for my 3D-printed SRU airsoft bucket so very curious to see what you will say about them.

Also, I’m glad you got to touch up on the Team Wendy liner with the Boa Closure, that one is really awesome if you intend to rock it with the night vision setup, ever since I mentioned it in your comment section via your MICH setup vid! I have a hard hat veterans ballistic helmet ate lite HHV. The chin strap is for a righty and I am a lefty. I want to get a chinstrap for left eye dominant. When purchasing the Cam Fit Retention System, what shell type do I need to choose? I appreciate the help!

I would go with the ACH/MICH FAST Highcut shell selection. That should be the one that works with the HHV lid.
