@TheOneKeyToLife Prolific scoring guards will give anybody problems. Ant is a solid defender but idk that he's much better than 6'8 jayson tatum. We saw him struggle against Kyrie/Luka defensively at times. Defense at this stage is largely team concept/effort. One advantage USA has over opposing perimeter players is size and length. If I have the opportunity to surround steph curry with 4 guys who are 6'8 and above, I'm absolutely doing that. Ant is not a good offball scorer and not a great catch and shoot 3pt shooter yet. He makes more sense coming off the bench similar to what Dwade did for the 2008 team. The offense makes sense with Bron being the primary decision maker with elite shooting and length around him.

They are both almost right but the starting lineup should be - Steph, Ant, Lebron, KD, Embiid. Tatum first off the bench (he and LeBron play a similar role and really don't want more than one of them on the court together for too long).

Imagine not bein confident in yo country only in the USA 💀

This is probably the first time I’ve seen Brou make a “you’re clearly not an athlete” take. I haven’t played with my high school squad in ten years, and I know for a fact that if we came together and did an open rec run, we’d sweep because even though years have passed, I still know how they like to play and their strengths and weaknesses which is an inherent advantage over building a team with a bunch of talented dudes who’ve never played together competitively

I've seen the u-17 World Cup, and I can guarantee you it is not the last year we will guarantee we're winning 😂😂😂😂😂

Starting 5 is Steph, Edwards, James, KD, Embid bench will be Holiday, Booker, Kawhi, Tatum, AD. Halliburton and Bam be getting the water. In both lineups Edwards will be the full court press defender on the ball and Holiday will be on the second unit. Good luck rest of the world! LOL

The 2004 team had 5 hall of famers and dudes with multiple all-nba selections. They got smoked by Puerto Rico who only had one guy who made the NBA and was a career bench rider. Chemistry is a lot more important than you think. Nothing in life is ever a "lock."

The question is not whether they have enough offensive fire-power but whether they have enough time to scheme their defence to cover the layered actions of the best global teams.

Brou almost went into "give me my soda/sandwich" mode 😅 Best not underestimate either the Europeans or even the Africans..... they are hardworking, ego free and hungry. Dennis Schr is a beast playing for his country.

Canada has a stacked starting lineup. But the US depth is going to win. Agreed. Jamal and Shai would both make the US team though. Nick is wrong on that one. That's still only 2 guys tho so he's close enough.
