Having Denver behind Philly is absurd. And not having Boston as the 1 because Porzingis is injured for the first month of the season is laughable because Boston just won a championship with KP injured for nearly the whole playoffs run. They play well without him.

You could say the same for okc in terms of not playing to their potential Plus they added an all nba defender who is a champion. And a player to fill in for Chet and fix their only weakness. And the young guys now have some valuable experience and are still very much improving. And unless they playing the Bucks, Mavs, or Nuggets, most would agree they have the best player on the floor

Because he's been rating them on talent rather than roster construction (all of Embiid's costars except Maxey have been mediocre fits at best). No amount of individual talent has ever overcome front office incompetence. The difference this year is that the top of the roster fit is now immaculate.

Played in a bad Eastern Conference. For that reason, I think it's a little hard to gage Boston's greatness in terms of are they on the verge of something historic OR did they just capitalize on an easy path for 1 year

I love their moves and certainly have them as my number 2, but Boston with everyone back is the champ favorite for me until I see basketball played. Wildes is right. Boston should have the biggest slice and get more from the 76ers. They are in the weak East. Even if OKC were a better team (which seems hard for me to say after what the Celtics did) they'll have a tougher path to the finals.

Celtics are still the best team to win unless proven otherwise. They still have the same team for the next 3 years or so. The team that is the most balanced offensively and defensively. This is why they crushed everyone and won.

I'll give Brou that. He'll stick by players and teams he's picked until he can't anymore. He stuck by the Nets the whole time Kyrie and KD were there, and only admitted defeat when they finally left

If every team is healthy and plays their best, Boston should win the title again. Keep in mind that Tatum and Brown haven't reached their peaks yet. Tatum has no mid-range game and Brown has room to be a much improved ballhandler and free throw shooter.

Love the show but always a bummer when the title spoils the segment!
