Hey, developer of the game here! There is no dev team actually, I made all of this by myself, only using online tutorials for help. However, I did have an artist who made most of the graphics, and two musicians who composed the music. The rest was all done by me, though :) Anyhow, I'm really glad you gave the game a shot :) Not familiar with your channel, but you seem to have had a good time, and that makes me glad! As for the feedback, that's very much appreciated, but I can't guarantee I'll implement any of it for now. I'm focusing on making KZread videos now and have put TF2 behind me. But if I do decide to update the game one day, I'm sure I'll implement some of the things you suggested! I'm also looking forward to your reactions to the rest of the game :) Hope you'll enjoy it! P.S.: It's hilarious seeing someone actually get tricked by the Specialists blowing themselves up when you execute them!

My theory is that "PYRO" through the history was not one person, but a continous effort, being like that: 1. Be traumatized in fire 2. become pyro 3. at the end of your life traumatize another child and repeat a cirlce

@@jdflasky1969 So recently I heard an idea of Pyro's backstory being like Mole's backstory from Atlantis- shit you shouldn't know. And well, it made me want that scene from Atlantis but it's Demoman telling Scout that he shouldn't know or ask about Pyro's story

The wackiest thing in this video is Rimmy somehow trying, and failing, to do an Australian accent...

It's actually not. The story intentionally deviates from TF2's, mostly because this is an alternate universe. RED and BLU aren't even a thing here, let alone Gray Mann, Saxton Hale, or anything of the sort. I just took these characters and put a little spin on their stories and backstories.

Yeah it's actually really hard as a newbie to this sort of thing. It took me an hour to get past the first demo part because it was really confusing.

I like how the weird shit that happens in Hotline Miami 1 and 2 is limited to only pyro in this because he is the only one who would see something like that.

I know TF2 is only just getting some admin/dev love. But please let us appreciate not only that fan games like this exist, but that they're allowed to when the TF2 killers are having to strangle fan content and make shitty stand-alone expansions in a desperate bid to stay relevant. Proves to me that imitations to genius can never compare so long as the master does not rest on their laurels.

My name is Tavish Finnegan DeGroot. I am 33 years old. My house is in Ullapool, Scotland, where all the castles are, and I am not married. I work as a mercenary for Reliable Excavation Demolitions, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don’t smoke, but I always drink. I pass out at 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a bottle of scrumpy and doing about twenty minutes of stumbling before passing out, I usually have no problems sleeping until afternoon. Just like a baby, I wake up with a hangover in the morning. I was told I had a cursed eye socket at my last check-up. I’m trying to explain that I’m a person who wishes to be a good demoman. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning or losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn’t lose to anyone.

The reveal of who the interviewer is in the second episode, makes the Pyro interview even more hilarious and worrisome.

Really glad you enjoyed the music!

I love the homoerotic tension that exists between some of the characters.

i must admit. when Rimmy said TF2 + Hotline I didn't expect it being so literal.

Was hoping someone would make a review on this, I really liked it, even though it has its issues (range being determined my mouse, Explosions lasting longer then the animation) I still like it, as you can understand the story isn't the exact same as TF2's story, and that it's a fan-game... So not the highest quality, it's really great.

Saw this in its development cycle for quite awhile, wasn't expecting to see it here. Edit: This video was an absolute joy to watch. Thanks for the long vid of you just genuinely enjoying yourself Rimmy. Can't wait for Part 2.

I love the fact that pyro basically lived three different lifetimes in the same one, died in a house fire, potentially caused that very house fire, worked for the army, was a chef, stole from a gas station, commited a war crime (They use a homemade flamethrower, the military doesn't allow homemade or custom weapons and if therefore a war crime), all in the same timeline

So the Demoman had adoptive parents who died trying to kill the Loch Ness Monster. After he developed bomb skills, his real parents showed up and explained that all Degroots are abandoned at birth until their skills show up and are then taken back into the family for real training. Last I recall, Demoman's birth parents were both blind. The father was dead and his mother was a crotchety old woman complaining about how Demoman still had 1 good eye and only 3 jobs.

Honestly pyro gives me heavy Eye Divine vibes. He's trapped in the cycles of guilt.
