Why is he having them off the right foot when shooting right hand layup? Typically you would jump off left foot and right foot in air while right hand shoots

From what I have seen on KZread it’s to throw off the shot blocker as the time your shot by your steps…one video I saw said it was a “goofy foot” lay up
