    It really feels like he had a change in style when it comes to videos and public personality. Talking and looking directly to the camera, laughing more often, sharing more thoughts and behind the scenes footage... I like this a lot, david is an amazing human he doesnt need the mystical facade. Im hyped for ascension

    I'm going to be an anesthesia student in about a week and we covered some similar topics in our summer work. When the anesthetist puts a mask on you before surgery they're actually doing something similar. We don't start people (except for kids) on anesthetic gasses, when they are holding the mask and asking you to take deep breaths, you're breathing pure O2. The goal here is to fill your lungs with entirely O2 and displace CO2. The reason they have you take multiple deep breaths is so that they can get CO2 out of the lung volume that you normally don't exhale. This gives the anesthesia team more time to establish an airway after you go to sleep and stop breathing. This can be a life saving O2 reserve if you're a difficult intubation. There are a lot of really cool dynamics that go a lot deeper with lung volumes/gas exhange. I think you could probably have a really interesting conversation with an anesthesiologist.

    So this is why people are suffocating themselves with the forced masks / muzzles

  • @drewren1231

    @drewren1231

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@jimneysweep9810 that's now how that works at all. All a mask is doing is creating slightly more "dead air space." It's really about the same as breathing through a scuba regulator. Your CO2 breathing drive still works perfectly well and you will not suffocate. I lift weights at 5500 ft elevation in a mask and have worked 12 hour shifts wearing one. I have not passed out or even come close. If a mask is "suffocating" you, you are also suffocating with it off and you need to see a doctor. If it is muzzling you, that's probably for the best.

  • @jimneysweep9810

    @jimneysweep9810

    3 жыл бұрын

    Drew1231 well do you are dismissing my own experience of it ? And plenty of others too in fact . I had to wear for work too and it was awful . Needless to say I had to take it off . Could breathe with out it . But of course your experience is supposed to be what works for me too? It is not the same as a scuba regulator. I work with people who do Wear masks and they are constantly taking off for relief . But no , if you dismiss peoples experience then that is rather narcissistic

  • @drewren1231

    @drewren1231

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@jimneysweep9810 its really all in your head. There is more heat and humidity in your face, which is combining with the idea that you're suffocating to scare you. You are not suffocating, you are scaring yourself. If whole hospitals' worth of employees ranging in size, shape, physicality of job, and health can wear masks then you can too. Again, if you legitimately cannot wear a mask see a doctor.

    yeah moving causes you to expend oxygen so you cant hold your breathe as long, what the seals do is on a whole nother level

    You are an inspiration David in so many ways. We love how you massive apply yourself to any given challenge, you go deep, study and learn, then you take your newly learned skill to another level us mere mortals thought impossible... Keep blowing us away and giving us inspiration to do and be what ever we want 🙏 Luke

    I used David's methods to increase my ability to hold my breath many years ago. It's amazing what you can do with some training. Nowhere near the levels he gets to, but I was able to add minutes to my capacity. It takes time and patience and discipline, but it's very much possible.

And David has been doing this himself since the age of 5 so I doubt he knew who the guy your referring to even was. I know I don’t think I do but I’m bad with names sometimes, give me a face and I’ll never forget it. OneLove bro

    Wim Hoff is using breathing techniques that Tibetan monks and other eastern cultures have known and used for at least 1,000 years. Specifically, you can look up Tummo breathing.
