I had a story too: Not teacher but a student, we were in Math Class when I received a note from my best friend at the time. That note was written " Pass The Paper On" so I gave the paper to the kid next to me. The note being passed around everywhere until the teacher saw us passing the note, took it from us, and read it quietly. The principal then immediately came in the room and without hestiation, the math teacher handed it to him with a smirk and the whole class burst out of laughter. After a few months, we saw in the principals office that the note was glues onto his wall.

People are very susceptible to this especially when they are 6 year olds. In my first grade class we were doing a project and then all of a sudden some kid shouted ITS SNOWING!!! Everyone ended up running to the windows, but it actually was snowing. Really pretty to see.

All my class know i'm trans, and he's the only teacher who didn't know. At least, he gave keys and autorisation to go to this GIRLS bathroom. (srr if my english is bad it isnt my native language)

One time I was on my period and I was sitting in my last class of the day where we were taking a test. I ended up deciding that I needed to go to the bathroom to clean up because I didn’t have time to do so between classes (we only had 4 mins which isn’t long enough for me), so I flagged down the teacher and asked her if I could use the bathroom. She told me no, I needed to wait until everyone was finished with the test or the end of the class, whichever came first. And you all now how some kids are, taking their sweet time in these tests, so it was obvious that, even if everyone finished before the bell rang, it wouldn’t be long before that. I told her I really needed to go, but she ignored me. The worst part is, after class, I still needed to rush in the bathroom and couldn’t properly clean up because I needed to catch the bus home. I never did like that teacher much.

Once there was a glue stick stuck to the ceiling. I told my friend, she told someone else, and eventually most the class knew and were giggling. The teacher didn't know why we were giggling and just stopped talking for a few seconds because he started giggling because the class was. Then someone pointed out that there was glue on the ceiling and we burst out laughing. It takes very little to amuse a class of 11 and 12 year olds.

This is actually something that happened to me. When I was in 8th grade, my class was *that* *class* that talked way too much. We just couldn’t shut up no matter how many times my teacher would tell us to be quiet. Then 9th grade (online) happened where barely anyone spoke. It was just completely silent except for the teacher. She always kept wanting us to talk and it even got so bad that she had to threaten our grades in order for one person to answer a question. I honestly don’t miss that class because I’m really anti-social, especially online.

As a joke I was in 6th grade I wrote a note on a piece of paper saying "Do you like B A K E D B E A N S?" To my crush (idk why lol) And the teacher saw me passing the note. When the teacher was walking closer I got scared. My teacher then proceeds to talk about all the rules about paying attention blah blah blah stuff and then says "Would you like to share what you were writing, (My name) ". He was probably expecting a love note and stuff but when I read out my sentence that I wrote the whole class bursted into laughter and my teacher grabbed the note out of my hands as if he couldn't believe it. But sure enough the sentence was there. My crush laughed too and I knew I scored a point with her and after about 2 weeks I told my crush I liked her. She said she liked me too. I am still dating her for this quarantine of 7th grade. For the rest of 6th grade till summer I was mostly recognized as. The Baked Bean Man. Lol.

Not a teacher, but I was working in a Highscool afterschool program with 15-18 year olds, while in college. There were this two dudes, about 17, always joking around, seemingly the best of friends. They were these typical bros you see in every highscool: one is the popular one (A), whom everyone wants to be with. The other was more geekier (B), but rich and with a cool personality. On my last day, I caught A writing something in a piece of paper, and stretching his arm to hand it to B. I caught the paper first, and was going to read to the rest of the class, but It read as following: "I think I'm in love with you bro" I silently smiled to myself and gave B the note. 10 years later, my husband and I decide we want to adopt, and we go to an adoption agency. Who do meet there? A and B, hand in hand, looking at adoption pamphlets. That made me so happy. I talked to them, we switched phone numbers, and three years later, I'm their daughter' godmother 😌

Story 1: 9th grade. My friend and I both took French. We were in math class and decided to study for French via notes. Eventually the teacher caught us and asked us to read it out loud. We then, as the only two in that class who took French, dramatically read the note as if we were in a play. Story 2: 8th grade. My friends and I are weird. I decided that we should write notes in Wingdings (I printed out small translation notes for everyone involved). When we got caught in history, our teach told us to read it out loud. All *4* of us got up and made random noises. It was great

I was in class and a note got passed to me that said, "do something kind today. Pass this on please." Teacher caught me reading it, but not who passed it. Took the note, read it, leveled her eyes at me, and walked to the front of the class. Placed the note on her desk, said nothing more. I thought that was the end of it. The next day, there was a box up front filled with kind notes and a new class policy. If you got caught doing something unkind in class, you had to write a nice note and place it in there, not given to the person you were arguing with. You could be the one to get it, or your best friend, no one knows. Every Friday we'd have a busy work where you wrote a kind note to fill the box, and you could always add some and take some. That box was always full. And everyone always was taking them.

Reminds me of something we did in 4th grade we randomly started writing little kind notes every Monday (I think honestly forgot about it until now) there would be sticky notes on the board with everyone's name written on it you would chose someone's name don't say who you chose when everyone was done and all notes were back on the board everyone would go up grab theirs with their name on it and get to keep it I still have one from my friend she moved that year to a different state haven't seen her since but still have her note she made for me somewhere even though this was like three years later it was a really sweet note too. Edit: forgot a step after you chose a name you don't say who you chose and write a kind note on it then put it on the board again

I used to pass notes with my friend that literally just had us fangirling over book characters no one knew, when we got caught, the teacher read out the note and thought we were talking about real people until they got to the part where we started talking about books. We tried not to laugh the whole way through, but the look on the teacher’s face when they realised we were just talking about books was priceless. It was an English class, and the teacher didn’t get us in too much trouble because we were talking about something related to the subject.

Tbh I really hate the whole “ask permission to use the bathroom” it’s a bodily function, we can’t control our bodies and holding it in is extremely unhealthy. Plus we get like no time to use the bathroom, we get like 5 mins between classes and in that you have to wait for a empty stall which takes up more than half the time, than you have to book it to you class. And most teachers don’t even wait the full 5 minutes they start class when ever they want.

One day during math class, I had a rough weekend (plus no one liked our math teacher). My friend passed a note to me asking if I was okay. The teacher saw it and asked me to read it aloud. I said no and he was about to give a demerit (stupid, i know). I read it and broke down because I already wrote everything that happened over the weekend. Everyone started getting up one by one hugging me once I read the my best friend killed herself over the weekend. (We were friends since primary school). It was pure and sad at the same time and my teacher never read our notes again,

In my school, there was a teacher that always read our out notes to the class, and everyone got really annoyed by it because it was almost like she had some sort of sixth sense that allowed her to find a note. So one day me and my friends wrote a note that said “pass this around the class until miss takes it and hand it to her the other side up.” So when the teacher went to read it, instead she would read “they can see your sweat patches from Mars.” (We were like 11. At the time we thought the insult was brilliant.) So we passed the note around, and it was only like a quarter way around the room when the teacher took it, and read it aloud to the class. She was clearly embarrassed and demanded to know who wrote it. We would have gotten away with it, but then some girl snitched in ya after class. Me and my friend got a detention but it was so worth it.

I have a few stories. First Story: I was in like 3rd or 2nd grade or something and I had two classes at my afterschool. The first one was Chinese class and the last one was Math/English depending on the day. So anyways, I was friends with one of the boys in the second class and he was curious about what was happening in the first class because I was in the 4th or 5th grade class. So, every time after I had a snack, I wrote on an unused napkin, since it was the only paper I could find. It was quite an embarrassing because I would write about memes and jokes the older kids said but I didn't know what it meant. At least I saw all the pranks and attempted pranks on the teacher. Once I was caught dropping the folded up note on the guy's table. The teacher just picked it up and read it. I was soooo embarrassed. It was TERRIBLE. And no I didn't have a crush on that guy. I was younger so I don't remember exactly what made me want to do it. It was called Daily News or something like that. Second Story: In 4th grade, I was part of student council. Near the end of the school year, all the 5th graders played a game of kickball against all the teachers. Even my teacher who had injured her knee cap a while ago and used a scooter thing played and made an epic catch which nearly saved the teachers (5th graders always won for as long as I could remember). So anyways, as part of student council, I had to make a skit with the other members about the upcoming kickball match. One the 5th graders said something like, "Ms. (Teacher Name), I need to go get a tissue box for you for when you lose!" Too bad that wasn't on the actual skit. That became one of our inside jokes. So now that you have some of the info, here is how it relates to the topic of notes. The day after the assembly where the skit was played, I was passing a note to my friend who was also in side t council. There were like two or three student council members in my class. So as I was passing the note around, my teacher intercepted it. She read the note out loud (which I didn't mind for this particular incident). It said, "Don't forget to bring the tissue box!" The teacher who got the note was one of the teachers that attended all student council meetings so she got the joke. All of the student council members (plus the teacher) started laughing hysterically while the others not let in on the joke just stared at us confused. HILARIOUS. Third Story: This next one happened twice in 5th or 4th grade (Don't know because I had the same teachers for both grades since I was in the gifted program). Once the note was true and we didn't know the teacher would get it and one was a prank to see how the teacher would react (though that teacher was also pretty nice. She's leaving this year though...). So our teachers were really nice and let us eat snack in class if we missed recess from meetings or staying in to finish work. They would also let us do whatever we want after a test as long as we were quiet. They would even let us stay in at recess sometimes to use the Chromebooks. Though if they got mad for a good reason, they were MAD. They were like one of my favorite teachers. So anyways, I was passing a note to my friend saying how we should make some sort if card for the teacher since she was really nice and also to congratulate her on her new baby. On the other side I was also writing about how the teacher was soooo nice. Anyways, she caught my note after my friend read it. Luckily, she only read the side about her being a good teacher. We were still able to surprise her with a card signed by the rest if the class. Yes I did mention the nite she intercepted. The second time this happened was with a sub. We wanted to see how he would react. He was strict and didn't like note passing. So, I passed a note to my friend about my great idea. We kept passing notes until the substitute teacher noticed. Then, we quickly stuffed our hands in our pockets. He told me to give him the note so I gave him the other note about him being an awesome teacher (which he was). He was about to lecture us about note passing but read the note out loud and let us go. It was kinda cool. Alright that's it. Good night. 😴

I'm also the student of this story and the teacher never caught us passing the note around for some reason, but I still thought I'd share this with everyone: One day in 6th grade, our (reeeally soft, meek and gentle) science teacher announced to all of us that she wouldn't be teaching us anymore because she'd decided on another job. We were all extremely sad that she had to leave. Then I got this sudden idea. Writing the words: 'let's contribute some money to buy her something as a class' on a piece of paper, I began passing it back along the rows of desks (I was sitting right in front with the teacher standing the closest to me and had leant back to pass it to the row behind me, yet she either didn't notice or turned a blind eye). By the time it got around and back to me the paper was full of words of excitement and approval. The next day everyone brought around 20 dollars and gave it to the guy who agreed to buy the gift. On her very last they at school, we presented her with a watch as a farewell gift. She was quick to try it on and couldn't stop thanking us profusely.

In my class (middle school) about 3 months ago, we were watching a movie and we didn't have to take notes and my teacher assumed if we were writing anything , we were passing notes. I was going through a hard time and wanted to end it all, and being in the back of the class I started to write a suicide note. I was almost finished until the teacher caught me, paused the movie and asked me to read it out loud. I tried to say no but she yelled at me so I got up and took a deep breath, through tears I read my note. Everyone was in shock, some cried. The teacher looked like she saw a ghost, she was shaking and shaking her head. I put the note down and tried to walk out but everyone rushed over to me and just hugged me. We cried the rest of the class, everyone told me how important I was and that i matter. I went to a therapist and shortly after, never had those thoughts again. Once, two of my classmates were chatting. I have a pretty cool and chill English teacher, (let’s call the boys B and H). H starts laughing and the teacher just says like what are you laughing about? H gets really nervous and stop laughing, and he looks down. The teacher said she might have to give him detention if they carried on. A little further into the lesson, H starts laughing again. The teacher stop and says please tell us what you’re saying. H wouldn’t, so the teacher said I’m sorry but I’ll have to give you a detention! B then says “omg give one to me I made him laugh” the teacher finds it so sweet and cute about how he would take a detention for his mate. Needless to say, they didn’t get a detention ^^

If that's true, that's really awful of the teacher. People shouldn't have to read notes aloud especially when they're so intimate, even about suicidal thoughts.

In my 9th year algebra class, we’d all pass notes to each other just to see how far it’d get. Our teacher was a super chill dude, always making jokes and taking them too. He was super fun. Soon he caught on to us since we were being pretty obvious, but instead of getting mad at us, he started passing notes too. He’d be in the middle of a lecture, and hand one of us a note with a very obvious wink and point in the direction he wanted the note passed. You were awesome, Mr. Manente. Thanks for making 9th year a bit less unbearable!

When I was younger, my best friend tried to pass me a note, was caught and told to read it in front of the class. She read it to the whole class without hesitation but the kid she wrote about cried and it was a whole big mess and a visit to the principals office. I don’t remember the exact contents but it said something about his armpit hair. Last year on my last day of high school the same kid confessed that he liked me and said the reason he made a big deal about it was cos he had a crush on me since we were kids edit: since people wanna know, thought i’d edit and update. he didn’t exactly ask me out, he just wanted me to know before we go on our own ways after highschool. and i wasn’t interested in him at all which i think he knew and didn’t mind. we follow each other on instagram but that’s the extend of our interaction (^^* ) sorry it’s not as romantic as it could’ve been lol

Mine was kind of good So me and my friend were passing notes in class and it was written in korean (I'm not from korea and we don't live in korea) so the teacher saw it and grabbed the note from my friend's hand. I started to laugh very loudly and the teacher was very confused loool. And then when the teacher said to read out the notes to the whole class me and my friend were shouting "you won't understand anything!! XD" and then the student who was reading the note could only read shut up, get lost and some english words XD me and my friend were laughing soooo hard then the teacher threw the notes away. LOL it was the best!!

I was passing a note with an elaborate backstory of a character I was creating for Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. My English teacher intercepted it. When she opened the note and read it, she made me stay after class to encourage me continue creative writing.

    I was passing a note to this girl in my class, really sweet girl, and our teacher saw. He then asked who wrote the note and i said, "Me, sir." He asked me to read it out loud and I cried on the spot. Tears pooled down my face as i told him that i couldn't read the note. The girl was looking so sorry, and ofc the rest of the class was looking at me. I didn't know what to do. After him yelling at me to read the note a few too many times, i finally stood up and said, through tears, ''Hey girl do you have a pad? I think i'm bleeding'' I felt myself go pale (ya know that feeling) after i had read it. When i looked back at him, he was staring at me really hard and accusing me of using a secret language. When i denied it, he asked all sarcastically, "wElL tHeN wHaTS a PAd?" and i had to tell him. When i was done, he looked at me. He looked so mortified- switched history classes after that ;-;

For me one of my fav memories from elementary was when me and my friends were passing around a really absurd nonsensical note around the table and my librarian came over and read it out loud and kept going even when she realized it was nonsense. The note was something like "ba ba ba ba ba ding ding I am the only one the only one the only one the only one the only one the only one...(etc.)"
