One of the best decks ever made. Once you've had half track, you'll never go back to quarter track. I generally used 7.5 ips myself, because I was only using the tapes for myself and found 7.5 ips to be near perfect and didn't have to worry as much about head wear and tape consumption.

TEAC reel to reel players are one of the best

I was considering buying a 3300S 1/4 track machine about 12 yrs ago (all my tapes are 1/4 track) I had an A2300S however the larger A3300S made it easier to thread the tape.

Hi Mark . I do had questions maybe you can help me out . I got recently same model like this 3300S. When I click the playback it’s spin fast like in fast forward speed . Any suggestions of how I can trouble shoot this problem ?

Sounds like the pinch roller isn't engaging the capstan sleeve. Is the pinch roller pressing the tape against the capstan when you push play?

Thanks mark . Oh my you right I just need to push the pinch roller to touch the tape . Now it working totally fine . Thank you so much .

@@gerardbonggo5401 FYI, The grease that lubes the shaft has become dried. If you gently move the roller back and forth it might fix the problem eventually, if not the shaft will need to be cleaned and lubed.
