I'm getting so inspired - hubby will be rolling his eyes when I tell him not to toss my leftover teabags!! He is already helping me save (as in not automatically tossing) security envelopes & travel catalogs that seem to arrive every week. Very clever items today. My husband is more concerned with my credit card bill as I have started journaling and needed a lot of supplies! 😂. I have been doing the tea bag journaling and it turns our really pretty.

Anyone who isn't a tea drinker - you can buy empty tea bags, both plain & unbleached. I recently saw some in Daiso, the Japanese store. Anyone else, your tea leaves can be composted; if you don't normally compost, just dig a tiny hole in the garden as deep as your hand & put them inside, covering back up with any removed soil. The earth will take care of everything else. Decomposing food waste in landfill sites is a major cause of pollution (methane gas & leachate run-off into our groundwater system) & every little bit diverted from landfill helps. Happy crafting & composting! 😊

I love this idea and since I drink a lot of tea I won’t have any shortage of supplies to work with!

Haha 😁. It made a change using colouring pencils and they worked great on the teabags. I think watercolours and gouache would work great too. The sewing on the last one drove me nuts though 😫. Happy Creating 💜 xxx
