I have been crafting for many years. I began in my 20's and now I am in my 70\s. Crafting takes me to another place away from the harshness of every day life in our tumultuous world. Clinical therapy could never give me what crafting does. I used to sew/quilt piece a lot; not so much now. I rely on junk journaling for my enjoyment and weel being. Your projects, tips and hints are so appreciated. Thank you,

I take the tea bags apart at the top, remove the tea then slip in a photo from the Tim Holtz Photo Booth , add the string and tag back on and tuck it into a pocket or tuck spot. I think they come out quite cute and are quite a delightful surprise when pulled out of a pocket or tuck spot.

Listening to you speaking is very calming. I in fact have not been really able to do anything like what you are doing here for over four years. we had horses which took up all of my spare time and now my son is a hospitalized patient for a year now and we spend our free time after work with him. I am able to keep a book and pen with me at all times so I do some doodling. i literally have enough supplies that I could open a store and sell. But I hold on to everything in hopes that one day I too will get to glue something together.

Stunning! Of course i was thinking to a vintage wedding gown and, more, to a specific painting of a beautiful Princess - Princess Marthe Bibesco, painted by Giovanni Boldini in 1911. And i love when you use the snippet rolls in your journals, is not so often seen (everyone makes them for the video, but we don't see the practical part). Thank you for a moment of serenity and dreaming!♥♥♥

I make journaling cards out of my tea bags. Place a tea bag over some scrap paper then add a ticket and a label then paint a plant or bird on the journaling card. Maybe add a butterfly. It always looks great.

I love this! I wouldn't have thought of it! I do hoard teabags. I have made a few small journals using tea bags as the pages. I lined up 8 or 10 teabags as pages and used cardstock as a cover, then sewed a seam down the middle. I made one for a friend and one for my mother, so each page was decorated with them in mind-their interests and passions. There were quotes on several pages, a tiny pocket and a few tuck spots. They were appreciated by both very much, and I enjoyed making them.

I 🤩😍🤩 this so much. I have loads of tea bags hoarded as I don't use them that often, due to the fact as a non-tea drinker I bought the cheapest possible ones I could to use for paper dying and those are the small ones that don't have any strings or tabs so are far less interesting. This project has shown me that I can still use the crappy ones, but I should now start to beg, borrow and steal (😂) from all the tea drinkers in my life for some of their more 'refined' ones once used!!! I love the neutral colours you used in this one, and will def try that, but I can also imagine creating one of each of my favourite colour combos. Thanks for the inspo 😻

Absolutely brilliant. Definitely one to add to my teabag art arsenal. One of my favourite things to do with teabags is to dry them scrunched up on watercolour paper. They leave the most delicious stains which you can then doodle on and/or use for collage fodder etc. Then you can empty the dry teabags and use them in any form of teabag art.

Hmmm do I collect teabags. I had to stop I had so many but every time I find a new teabag I start again. There are 3 hot tea drinkers in my house one of them green and 2 of us iced tea drinkers where we use the family size bags and then I found bags that are big enough to use one tea bag for a gallon instead of the 3 family and even though they are more money I had to have some. Barbara they get all these darker marks so cool. So I had stopped because of room and I really need to use which I do in collages because they can be transparent or semi transparent. And then I came across round teabags so I course I have to start saving again. Your sticks make me very happy also and I will be trying these. So inspiring, but you always are❤thanks for sharing

I have 2 types of tea bags, one is like those used the other had the lil square. The square ones I nip the corner to empty the tea. Then I roughly paint the center then stamp over that. I either make a sleeve or reuse the original. I've for them over playing cards, magazine pictures etc but am in love with this idea!! I'll be doing this tomorrow!! You could also roll them around the old fashioned wood clothes pins that are crafted with to make reindeer etc. The ones that are all wood, no metal.

Sweetie I've been collecting my tea bags for other things but looks like I'm going to have to up my tea consumption for this 😂, oh the pain and hardship🙈. I think matte gel is best for most jobs. Lol friendly tea bags🙊. You are ALWAYS my calm, but with giggles and inspiration🤗. I'm planning a video with them. I have my 'rolls' hung from a bulldog clip because they're too stiff to roll but this type should be good for rolling. Yeah, have space will hoard🙈. Yes life needs more fuzzy softness. Lol yes, so many ideas so little time so I'm grateful for that. I love it 😍 I definitely need to make one. I don't have a stick but do have old paint brushes! It's ok to hoard them for a while sweetie. It makes adorable 😍packaging! Aww and perfect in your journal. Hey, it's always winter somewhere🙊. Well, I'm off for a cup of tea then 😂. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

Thanks for this idea for using tea bags for a snippet roll. Coffee filters also have a beautiful color. I drink more coffee than tea, so I will use those as well. 😁❤️👍👍

another idea is to cut it down the middle the long way, after the matte medium has dried, and make the pleated paper ruffle. I love the ones from glassine. the tea bags are softer! love the snippet roll idea! can't wait to try.

I too have a huge stack of teabag papers. So far all I have made is a wallet for my teabags and a bag for my thermos with tea bag died calico and the teabag papers stitched on. Also some ATCs and card back grounds. Your work is beautiful. Thank You
