I have been crafting for many years. I began in my 20's and now I am in my 70\s. Crafting takes me to another place away from the harshness of every day life in our tumultuous world. Clinical therapy could never give me what crafting does. I used to sew/quilt piece a lot; not so much now. I rely on junk journaling for my enjoyment and weel being. Your projects, tips and hints are so appreciated. Thank you,

Thank you! I feel the same way! ❤️
I take the tea bags apart at the top, remove the tea then slip in a photo from the Tim Holtz Photo Booth , add the string and tag back on and tuck it into a pocket or tuck spot. I think they come out quite cute and are quite a delightful surprise when pulled out of a pocket or tuck spot.

That is such a cute idea ❤
Listening to you speaking is very calming. I in fact have not been really able to do anything like what you are doing here for over four years. we had horses which took up all of my spare time and now my son is a hospitalized patient for a year now and we spend our free time after work with him. I am able to keep a book and pen with me at all times so I do some doodling. i literally have enough supplies that I could open a store and sell. But I hold on to everything in hopes that one day I too will get to glue something together.

Oh I agree with you 100% about starting to hoard things as soon as you get your own craft room... I love hoarding almost as much as I love crafting!!😂
Soo beautiful Barbara !! I love watching you and listening yo your sweet, calming voice !!
Hi Barbara! Collage dried flowers in between two tea bags. Very cute! Love your show and never miss them.❤

I saw someone do this and they made four of them and framed each one with craft skewers or sticks, glued them together and turned those into a cute little lantern
I started saving my tea bags because of you. Can’t wait to make snippet rolls. I also collect twigs and sticks . Wonderful way to use them. Thank you.

Wonderful! Have fun with them! ❤️
What a lovely video. I don’t drink tea, but now I want to go make tea so I have tea bags
I too, enjoy the "crinkle" sound of paper.
Stunning! Of course i was thinking to a vintage wedding gown and, more, to a specific painting of a beautiful Princess - Princess Marthe Bibesco, painted by Giovanni Boldini in 1911. And i love when you use the snippet rolls in your journals, is not so often seen (everyone makes them for the video, but we don't see the practical part). Thank you for a moment of serenity and dreaming!♥♥♥
Love these! They turned out so beautiful! Not sure how I missed this video! Thanks❤
I make journaling cards out of my tea bags. Place a tea bag over some scrap paper then add a ticket and a label then paint a plant or bird on the journaling card. Maybe add a butterfly. It always looks great.
I love this! I wouldn't have thought of it! I do hoard teabags. I have made a few small journals using tea bags as the pages. I lined up 8 or 10 teabags as pages and used cardstock as a cover, then sewed a seam down the middle. I made one for a friend and one for my mother, so each page was decorated with them in mind-their interests and passions. There were quotes on several pages, a tiny pocket and a few tuck spots. They were appreciated by both very much, and I enjoyed making them.

Wonderful! ❤️👍🏻😊
Thank you, Barbara! I use teabags in collage, and often stamp on them beforehand to add more interest. I had 8 in my stash, including some herbal teas that add different colors, and glued them together while watching your video. I can't wait to start decorating. I love your idea to use the rolls as packaging, too.
Gorgeous! I really like the idea of using it to decorate packaging
Barbara you’re such an inspiration! Thank you for sharing your creativity!
I never thought of collecting tea bags or using them in my journals and other crafts. I’ve got to start collecting
Ideally i really want to find/create ways to store all (and i do mean all!) my supplies and products so that that the storage itself is an art worth displaying. Your video shows a perfect example of that. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for the inspiration. You are the best. You are so easy to listen to your voice is soft and sweet. You speak clearly and at just the right speed with just the right amount of information. 💕

Aaaaw thanks so much! ❤️
I 🤩😍🤩 this so much. I have loads of tea bags hoarded as I don't use them that often, due to the fact as a non-tea drinker I bought the cheapest possible ones I could to use for paper dying and those are the small ones that don't have any strings or tabs so are far less interesting. This project has shown me that I can still use the crappy ones, but I should now start to beg, borrow and steal (😂) from all the tea drinkers in my life for some of their more 'refined' ones once used!!! I love the neutral colours you used in this one, and will def try that, but I can also imagine creating one of each of my favourite colour combos. Thanks for the inspo 😻
Thank you Barbara for the idea to use our hoarded teabags! I have also made sniping rolls onto old photo negatives strips. I store mine in the see through containers that we get for leftovers in AZ. thank you so much, 🤗❤️😘🥰
I usually just make ruffles with mine and use pieces in clusters, to add texture, but this is so gorgeous and a perfect stash buster for all those tiny pieces I can't seem to let go of. Thank you Barbara this is inspiring x
I think after you glue them into a strip you could take it to the sewing machine and make a lovely ruffle!
Absolutely brilliant. Definitely one to add to my teabag art arsenal. One of my favourite things to do with teabags is to dry them scrunched up on watercolour paper. They leave the most delicious stains which you can then doodle on and/or use for collage fodder etc. Then you can empty the dry teabags and use them in any form of teabag art.
Barbara, hi. I use my tea bag stash to make clusters, collages, and small envelopes. Love your channel.
Great idea!! I am gathering special things for a "Tea Party Journal" what a wonderful addition this could be.
I love using tea bags! They add so much texture to collage projects.
Great idea! I like stamping on tea bags too.
Beautiful use of teabags😻❤️
❤❤❤ who could open a present, sweetie, that is so gorgeously wrapped ??? I love your snippet roll a lot😊 it's something I even see myself doing. Love from me and Eelco 😘🎶
Great project. Love this idea. Thanks for sharing. Please....keep sharing.
OH MY GOODNESS,!!! I am SO in love with this project ❤❤❤ I am SO excited to make one of these! I like the all neutral colors, perfect!!! You do so wonderful a job going thru ur tutorials. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤I love to have new things to try to be crafty 😊😊
Wonderful idea! My husband drinks a ton of tea and saves his bags for me, but I just can't keep up. I made a couple of tags with this snippet roll and I love how they turned out. Thanks for sharing!
Barbara:oh,-this is a great idea. I will do this. So many ideas came to me while I was watching you, I had to write them down. Decorating with them is endless. Covering a box and permanently adding one of these snippet pieces on top could really be a keepsake for someone. I especially like the neutral scheme. Very sophisticated! Carol from California

I love this idea, Barbara. I glue tea bags to paper using matte medium. It looks like Mulberry paper when you're done.
Hi Barbara, what a great idea. I completely agree that we can consider ourselves lucky with our hobby. I know many people who don't have a hobby. I always say make sure you find something you enjoy to keep you busy, it doesn't matter what it is. I have so many hobbies that I always run out of time. Storing your snippet roll is great. I hope you had a nice holiday. Greetings 👍🧡
Love junk journaling sounds! My fave is paper being cut by scissors. ❤️👂🏻📃✂️
I currently hoard my teabags! I’ll be trying this soon. I am blessed with my own crafting room. I totally get what you mean.
Love this project! I have watched your bubble video. It is so much fun! I have many tea bags. I have stamped on them, drawn on them and decorated them lots of fun. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love these! I have around 500 dried teabags put away, now I know what to do with some of them! Thank you for sharing 🤍
I just love your style and what you share! Thank you! I'm a tea bag hoarder too! Thank you for the ideas!
I love snippet rolls! If you do neutral colors, you can add a few little things to them that match your projects. I love the splatters. I love the laces and I especially love the snippets that have your sewing on them. Such a calming video. You can’t go wrong when you’re doing something so relaxing. Loved this video. Thank you.
Barbara I absolutely love this idea. It definitely looks relaxing. ❤
Wonderful use of the tea bags. It is so pretty.
Hmmm do I collect teabags. I had to stop I had so many but every time I find a new teabag I start again. There are 3 hot tea drinkers in my house one of them green and 2 of us iced tea drinkers where we use the family size bags and then I found bags that are big enough to use one tea bag for a gallon instead of the 3 family and even though they are more money I had to have some. Barbara they get all these darker marks so cool. So I had stopped because of room and I really need to use which I do in collages because they can be transparent or semi transparent. And then I came across round teabags so I course I have to start saving again. Your sticks make me very happy also and I will be trying these. So inspiring, but you always are❤thanks for sharing
Oh Barbara these are Beautiful! I can’t wait to have a play and create. Love Love Love them!!! Thank You for sharing your Wonderful idea!
Great ideal will have to save some tea bags, I'm a coffee drinker thanks for sharing
Thank you!❤
I love this! I have a bunch of teabags that I need to use. This will be so cool. :)
I drink a lot of tea and I have a lot of tea bags. I save more than I can use in my projects, but I like the color and the texture. You can glue on them, paint on them, or stamp or stencil on them. I have one that I dotted nail polish on. Sometimes I used them fro backgrounds.
I have not made a snippet roll. I will try it out. Thank you for sharing ❤
I have glued them over old pictures. It gives a very neat affect.
I have 2 types of tea bags, one is like those used the other had the lil square. The square ones I nip the corner to empty the tea. Then I roughly paint the center then stamp over that. I either make a sleeve or reuse the original. I've for them over playing cards, magazine pictures etc but am in love with this idea!! I'll be doing this tomorrow!! You could also roll them around the old fashioned wood clothes pins that are crafted with to make reindeer etc. The ones that are all wood, no metal.
Awww, Barbara! I loved seeing my great-grandmother’s lace in your beautiful project! I’ve been using it a lot lately in some journals I am making. ❤ so fun! You are always an inspiration!

Right? So do I!
I love this snippet roll! It's so delicate and beautiful. We are on our annual summer on the road in our RV and this year I brought my little sewing machine so I can dedicate some time to making some new snippet rolls with some adding machine tape I found in a thrift store. One of them will definitely have some tea bags (I don't have as many as you) with lace and doilies! Oh, and fuzzy paper and splatters!
Love teabags. Never thought of making snippet rolls. Love it
Molto bello questo roll 🍥 grazie per averlo mostrato, forse so come riciclare le cartine acchiappacolore 😍 Grazie mille ❤️🙏
Love! Great video!
So cool!! I love this idea.
I have lots and lots of tea bags. This is a great idea!
I use tags a lot (I’ve written an article for Quilting Arts June issue). I love this, especially just as a scroll 🌸😊
Barbara!!!! These are gorgeous. Such a creative and innovative idea.
Thats the prettiest snippet roll I have seen! I made a tiny journal with mainly tea bags, very delicate and sweet. I also use them over rips or tears in my pages that I thnk might tear further.oxox

Your snippet rolls are just fantastic! Truly beautiful pieces for a journal. It’s a pleasure to watch your work.
Hi Barbara. I've never made snippet rolls, watching you make this tea bag one inspired me. Climate here is humid all year round so tea bags tend to take long to dry. I'm one of those crafters who doesn't have a craft room. I just have a craft table in the corner of my bedroom. Limited storage space.
Lovely idea! Thank you for sharing 😊❤
My dining room is covered in junk journal debris right now. But even when it isn’t my hubby prefers to eat in his lounger while watching the evening news. Makes it easier to not have to get all the things out and put all the things up in the same day.. Thank you for so many tutorials. I learn so much from you and Luise Heinzl.

You are very welcome! I’m so glad they are helpful! 🥰
This is a cool idea for tea bags. I drink a fair amount of tea but never really thought of drying out the bags. Mine a small ones but I'm sure you could glue side to side to make wider. Another idea for my project list.
I actually used some to die cut leaves… kinda like skeleton leaves. I used my sizzix.
Not a tea drinker, but now i think I’m going to have to 🎉 go shopping n brew away …maybe dye some paper just to make a roll !
Very fun project. Think I’ll have to make some. I think I may also try on piano roll paper.

I’ve made several snippet rolls and love making them! I have several vintage industrial spools I use to display them on. They are a work of art just by themselves! I like to use a variety of textures in mine, papers, laces and even buttons. I also sew some zigzag and straight lines on them. I mostly use neutrals and a black stitching for contrast. Your tea bag snippet is gorgeous!
I absolutely love this idea!! I'm going to make my husband save his tea bags! 😂
Love the idea I have been collecting with your idea its time to play lol. Thanks for the inspiration ❤
Love your snippet rolls, I make mine with paper and fibers and cut them and glue into my journals to embellish. They add so much.
GIRL!!!! I hoard tea bags too!!!!! And…sticks…like driftwood! Been searching for larger spools with no luck. I am SOOO gonna make this-on camera-and tag you in it. Thanks for showing us this. Very beautiful

Gorgeous Barbara 🎉 love snippet rolls in paper or fabric. So much fun and also therapeutic 😌 ✨️
Brilliant idea. Its lovely. I don’t drink much tea but now I will. ❤️❤️❤️
Sweetie I've been collecting my tea bags for other things but looks like I'm going to have to up my tea consumption for this 😂, oh the pain and hardship🙈. I think matte gel is best for most jobs. Lol friendly tea bags🙊. You are ALWAYS my calm, but with giggles and inspiration🤗. I'm planning a video with them. I have my 'rolls' hung from a bulldog clip because they're too stiff to roll but this type should be good for rolling. Yeah, have space will hoard🙈. Yes life needs more fuzzy softness. Lol yes, so many ideas so little time so I'm grateful for that. I love it 😍 I definitely need to make one. I don't have a stick but do have old paint brushes! It's ok to hoard them for a while sweetie. It makes adorable 😍packaging! Aww and perfect in your journal. Hey, it's always winter somewhere🙊. Well, I'm off for a cup of tea then 😂. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

Thanks for this idea for using tea bags for a snippet roll. Coffee filters also have a beautiful color. I drink more coffee than tea, so I will use those as well. 😁❤️👍👍
What a great idea! I love making snippet rolls. Dsh, why didn't I think of it! Lol! I will definitely be making some soon. Thank you for the inspiration. Blessings ❤
Love this Barbara!!! What a clever way to use the sticks.
another idea is to cut it down the middle the long way, after the matte medium has dried, and make the pleated paper ruffle. I love the ones from glassine. the tea bags are softer! love the snippet roll idea! can't wait to try.

Love the neutral color scheme ❤. I've been hoarding my tea bags as well 😆
I too have a huge stack of teabag papers. So far all I have made is a wallet for my teabags and a bag for my thermos with tea bag died calico and the teabag papers stitched on. Also some ATCs and card back grounds. Your work is beautiful. Thank You
Barbara!! You're snippet roll family is growing!! 😂 lol. I love them all. This one i think is my favorite. I would also hoard them. Lol. Tfs.🥰💙💙💙
