@@asamimoon5789 It really is a great piece. Sometimes you just find that one perfect piece and have to have it. You'll wear it all the time and have it forever. For me it was a pair of bridal shoes. Satin white round toe stiletto heels with an almost obnoxiously cute bow on the back...I bought them at 16!!! I'm in my twenties now and still a bit away from getting married NO REGRETS!

Like you were already looking like the baddest queen on the continent but then the matching fan came out, you killed me. What a look. I already had a partner when I bought my first dress and she looked and it was like "Great, something for you to wear to the Ren Fair with me." It's got some great Medieval inspirations in the print so it will be AWESOME whenever we can have Ren Fairs again. Date a nerd, ya'll, they will also have some expensive artisan niche interest so they won't be able to complain about yours. 😂

I find that waiting for everything to dry prevents smears and cracks later. However, I forsure stand in front of my fan when I’m in a rush to speed things along 🤣🤣

I feel the same about prints with crosses. Also, there are people who are not christians (I don't live in a christian country and not a christian myself) who really react badly to any symbolism of christianity, and are violent. I don't want to get those people on my head.

That’s a very good point! I hadn’t thought of that but yes religious symbols can make trouble for a lot of people that’s why I’m so hesitant about wearing them. I’m not Christian either so I don’t wear the symbol outside or around people who might find it offensive if I do wear it at all

After watching the season 3 finale of Downton Abbey I definitely felt like I was in mourning 😣😣🤣

I would love to see a "frog prince" theme or just frogs and toads in general... I imagine the print style being in a similar style to certain AatP prints I've seen (such as Scent of Rapunzel..I wish I knew the artist who drew the design ._.)

I make a big dry cleaning trip once every couple months depending on how often I wear the dresses. My local dry cleaner only charges $12 per item so it’s not expensive

I would love to see Gothic lolita with less religious imagery to be honest! I have no problem with crosses and rosary of course, but since I am not Christian or Catholic, sometimes I feel like I may be disrespectful for wearing crosses.. ESPECIALLY Rosary! I just can NOT bring myself to wear rosary or a crucifix because I feel like it is such a deeply held religious symbol.

I would avoid buying Lolita dresses from amazon and eBay because of the high chances of not getting an actual wearable Lolita dress. Also look out for design replicas. Any dress marked Angelic Pretty, for example, that’s like $20-$40 from a non Lolita specific shop will probably be a replica ad have horrible quality. Make sure that your bag and accessories match the color scheme/theme of your dress (I.e. that sailor moon bag won’t go well with a cat print dress etc) And since it’s a billion degrees outside you don’t necessarily have to wear a blouse with your jsk. You can wear instead a light cardigan, bolero, or peignoir. If you do want to wear a blouse anyway because it’s the best practice, consider a sheer or light one. Many brands make Lolita crop top style blouses now so your chest and shoulders will be covered but your tummy will be free and breezy. Also consider getting a cage petticoat to keep your legs cool instead of a layered frilly one. You won’t have to worry about it deflating and many are adjustable so one can be used with multiple dress silhouettes. Message me on IG for specifics, shops, and pictures
