“Perfectly tame your mind”, this is the Buddha's teaching. The Buddha did not say, “Perfectly tame someone else's mind.” You have to purify your own mind. If you cling to these thoughts of resentment and frustration again and again, you form a habit, and this habit will manifest before you in the Bardo in the form of a delusive perception which is the projection of your own mind, just like a TV show. This is what creates hell, it is the projections of one's own anger and resentment. Let go of it and make an effort to cultivate love. The only thing you should hold on to is love. Then you have no fear when you die, you will be born in the higher realms and slowly attain enlightenment. So do not worry about the faults of others, rather purify your own faults.” //Garchen Rinpoche

Thank you Shifu for today’s talk. It was beneficial for me in many ways. One being that I got to learn a deeper sense of humility in hearing that you yourself don’t have all the answers. This is a reasonable concept, since you are only human just like the rest of us. But still somehow a surprising one, and one that gave me comfort in my own ignorance about certain things. That it is normal to not understand, that the growth of one’s understanding makes the journey a fulfilling experience. I also appreciate seeing your humorous nature. You have a wonderful sense of humour. I could probably listen to you talk for hours. Thank you again and blessings from Australia. 💛☀️🌻

I just finished listening to this tea talk. Thank you this resonates with me. I train every day. As soon as I have a little time, my mind and my body tell me to GO! Of course outside a monastery, it is more difficult; the mind must be even more disciplined but I don't give myself a choice and I like that. We each have something to cultivate. It was a dream and I think I realized part of it. Thank you for sharing. Accept all my gratitude, and of all my heart beautiful path and good practice for your disciple. Amituofo 🙏🍁🍂⛩

What Shi Heng Yi communicates about monastic life, seems to me as itself the only truth and because I do embrace this way in my life as well (in a people’s society), I strongly believe that either officially or unofficially, every individual once has understood that living harmoniously with the self, is the only way to be then that is all it is! Fundamentally focusing and mastering the self is the only way not to be controlled by thoughts or the opinion of others! I always keep in mind a quote Shi Heng Yi shared with us during the training in the Shaolin Temple Europe this summer : “Be free within the structure”, meaning that freedom can be achieved only within the individual, who then can be free in any place and at any time. Thank you Shifu🙏🏻

Thank you very much - master Shi Heng Yi🙏 You give me so much sense and I zink I have meet a soulmate. I have been school-teacher for children in 40 years and used my knowlege from Thai Thi and Qigong and so on to motivated, to make a safe room to fokus and learn, so my studend could get the best sense of meening to learn and live there life in school and in the community the hole life throug and now, when I look back an meet my grown up studend, I can see, it was the right way to go and do. Throug my life as teacher I have only meet very few colleagues, who understand my way, but they could see the my results and when they asked me what to do, I have not your words then, and as you said, - word is not enough, we must practice to get the sense. I have learned so much to day and you have also make a way to come back and practices again. First I “meet” you were i danish television, where I followed 8 danich people practice with you. And then I follow you and actually practiced in to session live to day. And then I hope to find a shaolin school where I lived. The best regards Ann Marie🙏

Everythink made sense, to me. The depth was present in each of your word and each touched me deep inside. I felt my Body, and different bodyparts, reacting on the truths in the whole Presentation. Even little tears. I asked for help to receive a message what to do in a extrem situation in this time and then this message, the video looked at me, and called me to open it. To receive a message which I asked for. This from a woman which dived into Martial arts in the Past, with experience of some practice. And passion was in each movement she did. She has other roots then the asian roots, never the less was grown as a child with Kung-fu Movies and legends. That's why she had a good fundament in her practice. Because the resonance was already present as a child. She was presseddown especially as a woman the whole live, to don't grow. It vibrates always in her blood when she listen about this wisdoms. Now she stretches her Body, to be able to get up. She learns to stand again on her feets. Pain, of just standing up and just standing straight, and standing on the feets, after she falled very hard on the ground.
