Te'a Cooper is a professional basketball player who was born on April 16, 1997, in Powder Springs, Georgia. She had a phenomenal high school career at McEachern High School, where she was a McDonald's All-American and a two-time Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year.
After high school, Cooper played college basketball at the University of Tennessee and South Carolina, where she helped lead the Gamecocks to the Final Four in both 2019 and 2021. She was later selected by the Phoenix Mercury in the 2020 WNBA Draft, but she currently plays for the Los Angeles Sparks, where she has already made her mark with an impressive 8.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game average in just two seasons.
