@@madsncakes Tcl seem to really have something going for them, spec wise it looks like its taking on Samsung qn90b and beats sony x90k. I wonder if they fixed hdr dolby vision wait time when switching content with an update on your c825. Thanks again for your video, showing lit room and dark room was really helpful.

I'm in the uk and really interested in the C935 but there is still no information about the uk release date, which is a bit frustrating this late in the year when all other tv manufacturers have either released their 2022 model or provided a release date.

Depend on expectations. If one truly want Dolby Atmos sound experience, of course with stand alone sound bar such as Sonos ARC, Sub 3, and couple One SL will deliver much better sound quality than the built-in TV speaker.

Hello, I bought a c825 in the month of May 2023. With the days, I noticed a flicker in the image at the edges, and it showed a discrepancy in contrast. Is there an update that solves the problem?

saw one in Sim Lim Sq, omg the edges are poorly finish rather sharp metal edges

Hello! I'm hoping you will be able to assist me. I just recently purchased that same TV, I purchased the 55c825 variant. My internet speed has an average speed of 600mbps download and 400mbos upload. When playing movie titles in Disney+ that have 4K, I'm getting stuttering issues. I have no issues with Netflix. Please help! 😕

I haven't had the time to take in more projects as I am above to shift out of my current place. Will probably start next year.

The specs on the TCL website specifically points to this panel is a DLED design that has been used in tvs since 2012. No new tech appears to be on display here.

Currently I will rank this C825 as the top of my list. The reasons are - it handles dolby vision content very well as compared to other TVs, - the video processing is good on the latest android tv, much cleaner than the other TVs I've tried - good color density and really deep blacks when I put it against another va panel I like the Q1 from xiaomi but not the Q1e as there is buzzing sound from the back... TCL c728 is ok too, slightly cheaper and a different type of panel, no deep blacks

Depends on what u prioritise Prism is still a good value tv with a couple of hit and miss

Superb screen, and for the price it's incredible! Top notch. Audio is quite good because it's all built in. The remote lets it down. Android Designed Remote is JUNK! Cheap Apple/Samsung imitation. Does not conform to a general standards. No numbers -which contributes to s l o w channel changes. Bad button layout! The remote is RUBBISH!

Is it c825 or c835…? I think .. c825 is an android tv and c835 is a google tv .. kindly plz clarify this

Come on, this smart TV hardware will become obsolete within 2 years, and anyways you will better buy a cheap TV box with amlogic cpu and better codex support as well as newer Android. Btw, Google TV is also Android, just different apps installed

Have you experienced google tv ? if haven't, u should visit any of the stores to try google TV from Sony. The entire experience is different from andriod though it's based on android based development. The UI design, the speed and more function can be found on Google TV only.

@@james6541 you will be surprised, but many of amlogic boxes have a certified Google TV. As xiaomi have shown us, the TV hardware like 4k screens cost almost nothing. The TV box can do absolutely the same as a built-in smart TV, but they are really cheap, more powerful, and get updated every year.

the processing from tv box dont utilise or work hand in hand with the features from the tv, it's pretty shit (sometimes) eg Apple TV,

At this price can get LG OLED C1. The pricing isn't realistic, they're not going to move much volume. IMAX enhanced doesn't mean anything. IMAX is more of an aspect ratio to home owners than any actual difference to a home TV. ATMOS doesn't matter when it's still puny TV speakers.

Oled common issue “ burn mark” Mini-led doesn’t have such an issue. Also, mini-led can produce black level like Oled and have better delivery on tv brightness. Plus mini-led life span is longer than Oled. It’s not the same thing to compare. Different technology, you can google this two to compare. Personally think this model is of much greater value than any LG or Samsung. The speaker with a woofer saves your cost to get a sound system.
