Rtings has stats on all of them of course. And if you compare it yourself you'll find differences that aren't in any KZread videos. This video presentation is very superficial, which is why it is so popular. We get the KZread videos that we deserve.

@@dimitrimerritt7641 You said informative and thorough. I would say uninformative and highly misleading. Because then anybody goes well I guess I can get four because it looks fine to me right? And then they spend the money on four and realize it's terrible. And it is all because she is not telling you the facts that you need to know that differentiate these televisions. If you go to our Kings you can find out exactly what differentiates these televisions. And it took me a little while to figure all that out because of reviews I would watch like this one.

I've been reading online reviews trying to decide between these and everyone has been unsatisfactory for helping me decide. I wish I found your video sooner because it saved me a ton of time. This was perfect and exactly what I was looking for with reviews. Awesome job!

Bought the 5 series, used the extra cash left over to get a nice soundbar and an Apple TV 4k. Fantastic TV and with kids in the house, in case it breaks, my bank account isn't going to cry too much!

I have the TCL 4 series and I'm happy with it 😊

This was a great comparison review, and the 5 series looks like a good choice for me. Also, your Xbox Series S looks great next to the TV, and I’m currently trying to get a new Xbox to go with my new TV.

The only difference between the S535 and S531 is that the S531 includes a Roku voice remote control.

FANTASTIC!!! I just started shopping was deciding between the 5 & the 6. You made it easy to eliminate the 4 Series. I think I'd be happy with the 5 Series, but the brightness will push me to buy the 6 Series. It's nice to know why I'm spending more other than because the price says it's better.

Currently replacing my S535 (2021), it astounds me how off the color delta can be from my 2017 TCL model. Apparently you can calibrate the R635 model with apps on Pixels, so I guess I already know what I'll be replacing the S535 with.

I just purchased a 50 inch TCL 5 series tv for our bedroom... it's still in the box tho. I'm waiting for my Klipsch 400 soundbar to come from Amazon, so I can hook both of them up together at the same time.

Very good job but you completely left out sound quality, does it differ between the different series or are they all relatively the same?

Best Buy had open box TCL 65R635 MINI LED 4K UHD for $ 692 and a Vizio Oled 55 inch open box for 792 which one should I get? I leaning towards the TCL because it is bigger tv.

If anyone is still interested in s546 2021 model 55” is 199.99 at Best Buy right now. I just purchased one.

I was able to find an “open box” TCL 6-Series for $550 so that was a lucky find

I Just bought a 5 Series 4k TV for my living room over the weekend which I am waiting for them to drop it off at my House this morning which is going to be a upgrade from the 4 Series TV that I got like 3 or 4 years ago The 4 Series TV will get moved into my bedroom to replace the TV that is in there which is a old TV that needed an upgrade

I typical watch movies at night, don’t have time to watch tv during the day. I’ve been watching stuff that has vibrant colors & I watch sports like boxing. Do you recommend the 5 over 6 if I don’t need the extra brightness in the day?

If you don't care about the brightness or gaming features, go with the 5 series!

I watch mostly 720p and 480p content or antenna OTA channesl so I don't need the 'best picture'. The 5 Series would be in my best interest for value and quality. Hope to pick it up the 75 inch this Black Friday 2022. I have an Xbox Series X but using it on 43 inch LG 4K. P.S. seems everyone wants their tv viewing to be very bright? I actually like to dial down the setting as it bothers my eyes but that is just me so I don't really want to pay for 'better brightness'.

Should have bought the 5 last week. Now it's up to $429. The problem with the five is BFI, Judder and stutter, although the six has a little bit of a issue with some of these things as well. The 5 also can't upscale 480p. But why you would watch 480p on a 50-in screen I have no idea.

Any idea which one is a better, the s546 or the s555?

I have a 4 series and 5 series. 4 series in a 50 inch, and 5 series in a 55 inch. I recently had to change my grandparents tv out for them and it’s an Onn 50 inch roku tv. The Walmart brand tv imo is lacking alot of features. The speakers are dull and I had to hookup a soundbar. And the picture quality is okay but the 4 series is definitely better. And the speakers on my TVs are significantly loud without a soundbar. I would stay clear of Onn and any other TV that has Roku built into it. TCL and Hisense seems to be the only decent brands that has Roku built into their TVs.

@@Soccercrazyigboman I’m saying the picture on the 4 Series is better than the picture on the Onn brand Walmart Roku TV. Both of my TCL TV’s are still working after almost 3 years of owning them. Stay clear of Hisense. My cousin bought a Hisense A6 Roku TV, and it went out in just over a year.

I like the series 5 for gaming. But the 6 it’s awesome

i though of it but it seems bestbuy removed them and dont see options for them in my area accept for the 4 serie

5 series at 55 inches going for like 400 bucks right now... Really not sure how you can beat that for value without tipping up into the much more pricey models and such.

One thing to keep in mind as well as the series model is the model year.. Every year they seem to becoming out with a new version that is slightly better than the previous one... Usually these changes are small and incremental slightly brighter screen... but sometimes they can be quite large.. For example the 2019 6 series is still a QLED TV and in 2020 the 6 series moved on to mini LED... ( on that note there are some people who say the panels in 2020 5 series are just left over 6 series panels that got repurposed not sure if true but kinda makes sense...) This is important to note as stores usually have sales on the older models and it maybe lacking features of the newer models even though they are the same series TV and brand...

that key light looks too bright for you, haha!

I don't know fuck about TVs and I like saving money. Will I be disappointed by the 4 series? Is it noticeably bad?

I have the TCL 4 series and i was surprise by its brightness and colors i figured out how to optimise that Tv but its require some optimization also the inputs are hdmi 2.0 so its 60 hz at 4k or 120hz at 2k and 240hz in 1080p for a 4k resolution its 60 fps maximum but there is a way to enable freesync on that Tv but you need a Amd radeon graphic card and CRU software to force the graphic card to enable Freesync and once you enable freesync that tv is better for gaming also you should set the pixel format to YCbCr 4:2:2 to be able to have 12 bpc cause with the pixel format YCbCr 4:4:4 you can only have 8bpc so in others word i game in 4k with a pixel format YCbCr 4:2:2 at 12bpc with freesync at 60hz and dont forget to enable to game mode on the tv itself to reduce the response time.

​@@giovanniortiz4223 I would not recommend the series 4 in 2022 also there is a big issue with this tv... this tv actually never turn off completely its stay always on even when i close the tv, i can see that the led are open and i am pretty sure that the engineer from TCL make sure this TV wear by itself cause its always open i had to buy an electric smart outlet in order to turn off the power from the tv when i dont use it... i also noticed some white spot on the screen personally i would go more with a newer Qled TV with Dolby Vision with a true HDR that handle YCbCR 4:4:4 in 10 or 12 bit of color also with a 120hz on 4k resolution and with HDMI 2.1 port cause the 2.1 version has a better compatibility with ARC device like sound bars the feature is called it e-ARC with the tcl series 4 you only have hdmi 2.0 port and regular ARC and there is some issues and sometime i need to restart my sound system in order to make it work and the e-ARC have better sound quality as the sound is uncompressed vs the Arc the sound is compressed.

@@giovanniortiz4223 For that price i would suggest to go with LG 4K Smart NanoCell TV i would suggest you to look at the LG NANO85 50'' its a 120hz Tv Dolby vision have great colors they support Amd Freesync and Nvidia G-Sync to have a better gaming experience if you connect your computer, there is 3 hdmi 2.1 port eARC but if you can be patient my others suggestion would be to wait 14 days until the next Black friday you can easily get rebate that goes up to 300-400$ per TV

For PS5 games of today (late '21, early '22), HDR 4K 60Hz will offer a better graphical quality. But, if you're after smooth FPS, and the quickest response available for you, 5 and 6 Series can assist you. BUT today's games aren't ready to fully deliver up to the specs (of 120Hz in 60 fps 4k. Not even COD.

According to Best Buy, the S4 does not have hdmi 2.1 ports while the S5 has all 4 hdmi 2.1 ports.

Can you review the TCL C728 , its more of a gaming tv and it's a new model that is only for middle east and east I think, and we don't have good reviewers like you, so I will appreciate it if you would consider it, thanks.

I had a 6 series for a while but no 4K @ 120hz was horrible 😭😭 other than that the panel “rivals” the Vizio oled in my wife’s woman cave.
