The only issue is the fade which started happening after roughly 4 years but that's thankfully not getting any worse so I'm ok with it. Only looking to upgrade since I want a dedicated monitor for television while I keep this one as my monitor for the PC

Bought a C2, but I ended up returning it because a vertical line of stuck white pixels would always pop up. Pixel refreshing would fix it, but the same line would always pop back in and I don't want to deal with that all the time. Might try OLED again in the future once it matures some more.

Idk what u mean by mature more lol. Oleds been around for like 8-9 years. I own a a80j oled that I bought as a DISPLAY panel with like 3000 hours of display use on it like a year and a bit ago, and there's nothing wrong with it. I use it every day, and it's awesome. You unfortunately got unlucky and got a faulty TV. Happens with everything. I do understand, however, that first impressions are important, but don't say they aren't 'mature' when they've been around for a lot longer than people realise.

TCL makes some great TV's. I recently picked up the TCL QLED 65" 65S55 about 2 months ago and it's fantastic. Good enough that I picked up the 75" version for our living room. But then I decided I wanted to get back into console gaming, so I ended up picking up an LG C2 so I have all of the fancy gaming features. But to be 100% honest, it's not really that big of a difference than the TCL's I have. Sure, the OLED panel looks better, no doubt about it. But it's not as night and day of a difference as I was expecting, and the extra brightness of the QLED makes it a better choice for our bright living room. Considering the price difference, I think the TCL's I have are fantastic. Not a single issue with all 3 TV's, they all work great.

@Sawyer C. Thank you so much for this detailed response, I really do appreciate it! I've done a little adjustingn and the picture does look amazing. I played a couple of the LG OLED test videos yesterday and was blown away. I like the remote, I like WebOS, I actually like everything about it. My one and only real gripe I'm trying to overcome is squeezing just a bit more brightness out of it when I'm playing Xbox series x. I was playing MotoGP 22 last night and there were certain parts of the track that I had a hard time seeing that were covered in clouds. I ended up switching out game optimizer mode and going into Vivid, and then it was plenty bright enough then. I've been playing around with OLED pixel brightness, contrast and stuff like that. It's my one and only gripe, and only last night did it really actually bother me, it's been plenty bright enough in all other situations. Maybe I'll try disabling Dolby Vision on the series x today since that game uses DV, perhaps regular HDR will be a bit brighter. I was considering the s95b because of the added brightness, but all of the horror stories of bent panels and faulty panels have kept me away from that qd OLED offering. Tizen OS looks like a hot mess too. If you have any tips to squeeze just a bit more brightness out of it while gaming, I'd really appreciate it. It's an awesome TV, and I got it at a great price right before Black Friday, $1,699 for the 65".

Most people might be fine with a good entry level TV. It goes back to how much TV do you watch and do you find yourself caring about image quality a lot.

Hello i'im in Europe 🇪🇺 summer sales are starting I'm really sold of the ambilight but im on a budget 500-800$ top what model you would recommand in general in that (looking for a 42 /43 inch, well not many choices in that size ) oled even from 2020/21 at first glance seems out of reach but since you're a (American 🇺🇸 ) specialist you could orient/link me a bit /somewhere ? Also should I sacrifice ambilight for a better tv (samsung qled looks better, but on internet) nits and motion are quite important, I don't game but this was the main flaw of my cheap TCL (BIG MISTAKE 55" is so enormous and the VA panel was terrible) ✌️ Because Philips seems to have no in between it's either 500$ or jumping to 1000$ (oled) Since there are so many refs in LED panels I'm a little lost Thanks you if you read this comment, and dont elaborate it's work typing a lot just need a ref or a link who comes to your mind ;) Ps : quite a bright room with white (fancy Europeans ) walls, so idk if 500 nits is enough for casually viewing a football match (the lame European version hehe so soccer) for exemple or tennis , the tour de France etc Well you get it face paced content with a little ball 😅

depends on what panel size you want. 75" size for up to 1500$ get the X90J, 65" size is enough ? Then definetly try to get the S95B, but I believe it's 1799 $.
