@N1gerTV you said it yourself: it's interesting. Perhaps also, because this has a Chopinesque style. God, why is it even important to say something that contributes to the piece? If it is interesting why complain?

I heard the orchestral version of this many times when I was a kid in the early nineties. I never knew what it was called or who composed it and it literally haunted me my whole life. Then I happen to hear you play this, and suddenly I realized that this was piece I'd been searching for. It's the piece I heard as a child that I searched for in vain. Thanks so much.

Nightfeather that’s the thing about classical music. No lyrics to search up, and when you find a song you like, or in your case, heard a lot of times, it’s near impossible to find. Glad you did.

To say that Tchaikovsky wasn’t a composer for the piano would be absolute nonsense; his works for the instrument are subtle and not very virtuoso, but expressive and beautiful.

I thank you for all the effort that you put into each video which not only helps piano players like us through your form of playing the piano with a visible sheet music, but you also provide us with free links to the sheet music which not all youtubers provide to us! I swear, we have exactly the same taste... This has always been one of my favorites. Especially since even a relatively bad sight reader like me can still read it directly from sheet music. It's nice to be able to play a beautiful piece any time without having to study it. Tchaikovsky actually has several good pieces for that (another example would be June Baracrolle from the Seasons). Great playing as always! Keep it up.

In effect, you're a fantastic teacher without having to say a word. I'm fortunate that I read music, and the synchro of the notes with your playing makes it easy to follow. Tchaikovsky was nothing short of a sheer genius - and you have made it that so much easier to even attempt to follow! I'm on a mission.. Thanks for sharing this!

Tchaikovsky and Chopin lived in the same era and both were influenced by east-european music, this may be why. Also Tchaikovsky was born in 1840, so 9 years prior to Chopin's death, so there must've been an influence as Chopin was one of the most famous composers of his era.
