Btw I have the exact vtx like you do but I have to press 20 seconds everytime I plug the battery to the drone otherwise the goggle wont lock the signal (to get the solid blue light) unlike the other vtx that I can just get my goggle connected straight away

Great Video as always Gal, You can connect the Smart Audio on the Pro32 Nano direct to Output 4 on your TBS Nano Receiver.

I don't think that it's that difficult to configure this VTX. BF now supports SA 2.1 and it seems like a great upgrade for a powerwhoop.

Thank you for your great video. I made a huge mistake when bought a TBS Unify Pro32 nano for my 5 inch quad. Can I mod it to my 5 inch? Just solder it to flight control or do I need something else?

@@dogo_fpv3151 You can put it in any quad you want. But if you are asking if a VTX has Betaflight...you're not ready to add your own VTX to a quad.

will this be a good contender for the toothpick frame ( from your point of view of course) ? let's say this Vtx in combination with the Caddx Eos2 camera

You don't need crossfire to configure it right? That would be awsome i have this 2 inch build i wanted to make as light as fast as possible with a more then avarage range would be insane power to weight ratio it now is 66 g if i take off the full size vtx it would be arround 57g dry and if i put a 3s 300mah on it it would weigh less then 100g the motors on there are eachine 1104 8600kv tyro69 motors just waiting for the props to come in the mail after almost 30 days of delay

No, you can use BF Smart Audio.

I got the version with the break away 20x20 board is the wiring internal to the board or do I have to bridge the wiring.

hi KremerFPV, i buy a TBS unify pro nano vtx for my tinywhoop build but i don't see the osd on my goggles... i see what the camera see perfectly but not the osd, do you have a solution ? (fc aio goku versatile f411 1s 5a)

The VTX needs to be connected to the video out of the FC and the camera to the video in.

I just bought the TBS 32 pro nano for my betafpv 1s meteor75. - Do you think i can put it to 400mW or will it burn the voltage regulator on the f4 1-2s board ? Is 400mW too much for runnig on 1s ?

I haven't tested it but I think that it will be fine. Just make sure that it's not too close to the FC as it will get very hot on 400mw.

Gal Kremer thank you! Meanwhile I got a response from BetaFPV - 400mW is no problem. But you gave me a good tip - I wanted to mount it on a Toothpick Mounting Board but i guess that’ll be too close 🤷🏻‍♂️

@Gal Kremer I modded the tinyhawk 2 freestyle with this + TBS XF nano 44... I have a problem when selecting 400 mW, something strange happens: when I arm, the ESC make the classic "Power-Up" sound again except of the last note... then the video in the goggles disappears (lot of noise..), after a few seconds video comes back, then i have to disarm and only then comes the last "Power-Up" note... afterwards everything works but i'm afraid the VTX sets back to 25 mW.... someone knows what's going on? Thank you

@@KremerFPV yes man, I was pulling the current from the 5V so it killed the regulator..too much load. I disconnected the tinysleds board (and changed the supply solder jumper from 5V to vbatt) and then connected it directly to vbatt.. works perfectly 👌🏽

Hi, the frame is the Nidici AX215 (I don't think it's available anymore).

I followed these exact steps to unlock the vtx and it’s not working for me unfortunately. I tried it a few times. After getting in channel/band mode And hold for 20 seconds. The red led does not flash three time. Only once. And when in the power mode it won’t allow me to raise the power. Only get one blue flash. What is this about ? Anything else I’m missing ? Stuck on 25mw :(

Unlock it from the 2 red mode (band). be sure fo unlock it, bleu still, than blue flash than blue back steady. then releasing it will enter you automatically to the range mode. kzread.info/dash/bejne/oo5s1qynYsXdZtY.html

The usual wiring - Video in, 5v, ground and Smart audio.

The clean switch technology is what im curious about. If that works as it should that is awesome on such a little vtx...lol

It's a little harder to test it, but it seems like a great feature. BTW latest BF version should support SA 2.1 :-)

Today i mounted one of those on a 3" Japalura, but mine came with a 20x20 stack adapter board. For now i can only say it has a pretty good image.

Ok I installed a brand new one unlocked it and when I went to fly it the red light just blinks I get no video from 2 feet away. Their is nothing at all on line or in the manual about it

weird.. 400mw setting is only 300mw.. tbs is usually pretty good about that kind of stuff. STILL more than enough power at 300mw though

they usually vary A LOT based on channel. depending on output power there can be a difference of between like 15mw-150+mw from the highest output channel to the worst even on the full size tbs stuff. pretty nice graphics at the end of this video sum it up: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oKmGpLZ8mbnJZJM.html

I'd be hesitant to use it on anything above 25mW. It seems like it would burn out easily, especially if heatshrink is applied around it.

According to Trappy's video there is a heatshrink under all the Liquid Electrical Tape and Ive been using it for about a month and have had no issues. Furthermore, it reduces output power as the temperature reaches critical ranges so as not to burn out the VTX. I absolutely love it and find that I get a cleaner video on the same build with a different VTX. Brilliant overall.

bahhhh Ive been heat shrinking TBS Gear for years its fine I even layered a copper heat sink in between heat shrink layers .... however avoid allowing any hot glue from antennae mounting to get into any OTHER electronics . thats a fast way to toss fifty bucks or so into the wind not to mention your more expensive labor you invested mounting the TBS Part,

Its awesome that you can teach us even though english is not our native language, right? :) this guy has probably some personal issues and just projects his anger onto other people. The only videos he uploaded are not his own and the ones he has shared show that he has clearly something against refugees which is a standpoint to be fair but not a standpoint from where he can judge people on how they speak English.
