Hey im a subscriber of yours and i would love to see a phantom blade like this on your channel but entirely out of metal and including the hidden gun and the hidden crossbow. The stun gun hidden blade is one of the coolest hidden blade ideas I've heard. It takes a very creative and resourceful person to be able to have an idea like that and then actually build it. For that I applaud you.

I have a suggestion for the mechanism! *Make the cord longer so unless you grab it with your middle finger in a spiderman like gesture you wont trigger it by accident*

I have been watching you for 1 or 2 years and you REALLY should get more subs, views and likes

a better idea would be to make the blade like Connor's hidden blade cus it's more practical cus it's like a dagger and you can stab and tase at the same time plus it's more comfortable

I know there are 3d filaments that have conductive properties, They would probably melt from the stun gun though. but also 3d filaments that have an inbreed conductive wire in them. Might be really cool to design it so that you can utilise one of those filaments.

For safety you should people have a button to activate the taser maybe between your thumb and index finger, then you can have a normal blade and then turn on the taser if you need to

I have something to say, make the string to the launching mechanism a little bit longer so you don't accidentally launch it when you lift up your hand, but when you want to launch the blade take your middle finger in your ring finger wrap them to the string hold tight with those two fingers so it looks like the Spiderman hand kind of and then lift up with your hand and it shoots it

Dude, try to make a seamless gauntlet. It doesn't have to be 3D-Printed, it doesn't have to be metal... I'd just like to see what your take on a gauntlet would be. Perhaps you could use the Infinity Gauntlet for a reference. Good luck, and thank you if you decide to start this project

If you want to stick the Velcro to your wrist better, use flashing tape (sticky tar covered construction tape) and it will stick to your arm and the Velcro veryy well

Yes your settings are way off. You should try printing a benchy and refining your settings. I get better prints with a $300 printer.

You can probably add on a rubber gauntlet and and glove so you don't get shocked by the electricity

the taser hidden blade was in assassins creed syndicate. never got to use it only in a cutscene where shaun killed somebody

so question about the blade did you just connect the rubber band to the rope or did you tie a knot on one of the soundcloud sections

have a taser on the top, with wires that brush the blade from the top. have two wires on each side embedded in the plastic that stick out. When you activate it, the wires on top will touch the blade and will spark at the end. easy

nice man, i've been trying to get this print to work right for a few months now, but each time the pieces just don't quite fit well enough and have alot of friction. :/

I have an idea and you can tell me if it's a bad idea, what if for the teaser part you use your index finger as a trigger instead of the thumb?

I'm making one like this and I have gone through a many rubber band because they keep snapping after a few uses

Go with a plastic casing, Metal contacts on the front for the razer portion and metal Blade and slide. That should keep you from getting electrocuted xD

I printed the pieces, and some don't seem to fit together. It would help ALOT if you make an assembly video. PLEASE MAKE AN ASSEMBLY VIDEO!

What I think should happen is have 2 metal sheets on the blade and have 2 metal contacts where the blade comes out connected to the high voltage generator so when the blade comes out it makes contact with the metal plates and turns the blade into a taser no extra inside workings!

At my school we have a class, STEM, and we have a classroom with 2 full on 5 foot laser engravers, about 8 CnC mills, and 13 3d printers. By the way this is a class for 6th and 7th grader. Later on in the year you also build racing drones. Anything we 3d print we design in CAD, the teacher taught us sketchup in 6th grade.

Our school got a massive grant so as well as that stem class, we do all of our work on netbooks that we get to buy for cheap at the end of our time at the school.

Ben Zeko I took stem classes to in middle school and all we did was build with Legos. I hated middle school.

if the mechanism stuffed up and went too soon it would probably slit your wrists but still it's very good

i personally could upgrade that to have a rope descender but its my new design which almost looks like a grappling hook but it only helps you from 6 stories and under(cause thats all the rope i could fit on the descender cylinder) but i could also make a small actually shooting almost wrist cannon like in the assassins creed franchise where he has a gun on his..i have 3 different designs that could combine the gun descender and hidden blade and yet still completely unoticeable even with a long sleeve shirt,jacket, or coat....these for sale yet so i can show the people what these little gadgets can potentially be???

G3AR i printed the piggjj jiden bladae but im having trouble with it. the blade dosent extend all the way and when it does its just short of locking or will only lock if its pointing directly down the same with retraction but it will only fully retract when its pointing up. there are springs on the fliperes so the will just flip out and lock but the blade dosent fully extend. any thoughts?

you need to make a brace that go goes under it so it's not digging into your skin bud and I like the idia of the ring on thumb but it allso kinda looks uncomfortable i would put it on your pointer and have the string long so you can pull it with middle finger to retract but other then that good luck can't wait to see the final thing ganna be awsome : D

How many parts are there in total? Because I don't want to print this and end up missing parts.

Wouldn't it be better to put the ring on your pinky or ring finger? Since your thumb is going to be the limb that moves the most on your hand if you are going to grasp something the blade might extend out into your hand, but if its on your pinky since the movement is so limited then only way it would extend is by flexing your hand back.

ShadowLord562 I would assume it would be more comfortable on the thumb, and you could bend your thumb without using your hand to trigger it, but it seems that you would just end up hitting your hand anyways.

HarroKitteh It'll be uncomfortable either way. The entire hand would have to move back so that the blade would come out and at least at that, it'll give you a chance to use the hand normally. There are many ways too like using dual springs and using just force for the blade to come out. Then a string to pull in order to be retracted. It can go either way though.

y'kno there's a way to make a hidden blade without the ring rope. If you made a forearm piece with a button on the top of the wrist, when u make the motion, the back of your hand will hit the button and will extend the blade. I think this is the best way for it to work cos it looks waaaay better and u don't have to worry about a rope getting caught anywhere. I think its worth looking into man.
