I just installed it using your videos for reference. Works flawlessly! I don’t plan on much in the future for it, power adding wise but this little thing unlocks some good stuff then maybe some wider wheels and a little exhaust work along with better lighting being that I don’t have the HID option. I know you’ve moved on from the scat pack but seriously, thank you. Oh and a catch can too

That keycycle trick has gotten me a few times. The first time I was like, oh crap, what did I do? :)

I have a 2019 Charger RT and luckily I found this video because the radio was not rebooting and I thought uhoh this isn't working. But after unplugging from the battery it started working after 2 starts. I now have the SRT options.. yessss… Thanks for this video!

I know this video is old now but I just wanted to say you helped me out on my 2018 Charger. I had to do what Jakeem Davis did though. I did the full reboot and 3 or full key cycles but it still did not go back to normal. I had to let the car set overnight and when I started the next morning it was back to normal. It’s crazy it has been 4 years and Z Automotive still has not added this to their tutorial anywhere.

Yeah man I’m glad it’s still helping people out! I have noticed that this procedure works for most people, but there are a few that have to let it sit overnight before it finally all comes back even after doing this.

Why those zautomotive keep you’re airbags system warning lights on ?

Only thing i don't like is if you turn on SRT features you cant have the scat pack bee animation on startup. You can only have the charger or hellcat animation.

My dodge is 2018 can I set it on the connect radio

I have T/A "392". I'm thinking of getting a Diablo with a i tuner and purchasing a Jay Greene with a Fastman TB. Would this enhance the Jay Greene or would add an extra un-needed factor?

Ricky Simon if you have srt set turned on, on an R/T you will get that because the R/T doesn’t have the SRT airbag ring in the steering wheel like the scats do.

Project 392, Are you able to change a bunch of settings in the taser menu and then do the reboots? Or can you only change 1 thing and then have to do the reboots every time? Please let me know!

If a dealership says the tazer void your warranty you need to go to another dealership because they are idiots. It doesn’t reprogram anything. It simply turns on features that are already in the car. Matter of fact all the 2019 charger scat pack’s come with the SRT pages and drive modes enabled already

Actually you get more out of it if you have the 392. The 2018 you would still be able to unlock all of the SRT pages and all that didn’t come stock that the 2019‘s came with unlocked from the factory.

Hardly anything will work on the SXT. They have a list on their website of what functions can be enabled on what radios. I don’t know about upgrading to a higher trim level radio in theory it may work. May need to email Zautomotive to ask them that.

Do you know how to get the performance page to stay on because mine disappears after I turn the vehicle off. I did all the reboot and radio reset.

John D if you have a scat pack and it just came on you should go to the dealership to get that checked out. If you have an r/t enameling art functions can cause that light to come on.

Hey wondering if you could help me. I've got a 2020 charger rt and I had srt pages and srt modes on. And I went in a turned it off. And did the full reboot procedure. And I've been driving the car for two weeks now and my performance control(stock on the rt) and sport mode do not work. And I can't figure out why.

I will go back and check all the settings and make sure they are correct. If they are perform the reset procedure again. Sometimes it does take a few driving cycles to return to normal but if it’s been two weeks and it still hasn’t returned to normal then there’s an issue. If all else fails contact zauto about it.

The Hood Allianze Group I would say give it a few key cycles To see if it straightens itself up if not I would pull the fuse again and let the radio reset and see if that fixes it.

How about Z Automotive actually provides the steps to this simple madness? Unreal. Incompetent. I've done the steps 3 times now, but every time I do the radio reboot by unplugging the fuse I lost eco mode. Everything else is there. It's selected during programming and I have everything during the first 2 reboots. 2018 392 Charger

Good video. Having these mods are cool, but I don't like mess with this in most cases. I'm more interested in spending money on performance mods if I can. I know this adds track mode, but I prefer the driver mod. 😁

392 Silver Bullet I hear ya mam, but a driver mod make your transmission shift harder and faster. Lol. I also frequently use eco-mode and I love having the other options it gives, line lock, launch control, shift light, etc...

Project 392 I like the Eco mode, and the light show. I might pull the trigger one day this year or if I can get a good deal on it.

I have an 18 Charger RT base model. I’ve installed the Tazer and have the performance pages in my EVIC but nothing has changed on my uconnect. Followed your instructions to a T. Great video btw! I’ve done this process several times now without any luck. I did initially turn on the SRT mode and threw an airbag light. Turned that off, light went off. (Just putting this info on there for anyone else that has that issue). I was holding to unlock the pages on my uconnect so that I could enable street mode, race mode and line lock. Has anyone else with car had any luck?

With different models of the car it unlocks different things. Some things won’t work correctly in lower models. I would contact Taser and talk to them to get a list of things that will work for you on your car.

@@paullankan4870 the airbag light does stay on however. That didn’t go away. Remember to disconnect the tazer before getting service at the dealer. Otherwise your vin will be flagged by Chrysler

If you don’t have a scat pack or higher, the airbag light will stay on because the R/T has a different pretensioner on the airbag. You have to decide if it’s worth having the cool look and your airbag not working because when that light is on the airbag won’t deploy.

Robert Jedlowski scroll to “unmarry” and click it. When’s it’s done I would pull the fuse just to be safe so the radio full Reboots again.

Do you have to do same steps to unmarry the Tazer from the car ?

If you have an RT and not a scat pack or above trim level, you’re gonna have that when you enable the SRT functions. Because the RT does not have the proper steering wheel and clock spring that it looks for when you enable those functions

How do you unmarry the tazer i did mine and did not go back to stock settings

Sometimes it just takes a few days for all the things to come back. If it doesn’t, I will try to return it back to stock and try the procedure again.

@@KnightsGarage everything works well the Eco mode valet the only thing that doesn’t work it the sport track custom mode n when I pressed the sport mod button all the lights comes out and when I turn it off, it gives me a two minute glitch

I mapped my sport button to enable track mode. When I start my car it is putting it in sport mode, then after I hit the sport button it eventually pops up track. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

David Smith The auto track mode on start up and stuff is enabled from the factory on the Tazer. Do you have to go into the menu and change it to turn that off so it doesn’t do that I think you hit the same buttons as you do with the car off but with it running to get to that menu you’ll have to look through tazers instructions to get it for sure

Project 392 i had to change the setting because every time i start the gar the traction goes off, i have to turn it on manually. And still didnt fix it, I guess i need to do full reboot

Alb Production I just saw this comment. There is a live setting that they stay to automatically happen read through the instructions they have on their website and it shows how to disable that function so it starts up with traction control on.

Is there away to send my Tazer Back to get it rereset by ZAUTOMOTIVE CO.

I think it does but it does not work correctly and it will cause issues. They have a list of things that Will and Will not work depending on which vehicle trim you have on their website. Zautomotive

I have followed this video every step 5 times now and I still dont have the performance pages on 8.4 uconnect I do have them on my evic SRT is off perf is on did the reboot 2 times pulled the fuse key cycled 3 or more times still nothing

TRY2 KILLXXTHISXXGUY First do you have a scat pack charger? Because I have gotten questions before from people with an RT and some of the features do not work on an RT. Second if you followed this video step-by-step and you have a scat pack charger then something else went wrong somewhere either with the Taser it self or when you were changing settings.

If you don’t have a scat pack, trim, level or higher, the airbag light will come on if you enable SRT functions.

I have lost the ability to enable track mode, or anything other than street mode. My SRT pages are there, it just will not allow me to enable track mode OR sport mode. Eco is not on, it is not in valet mode. I've done a full reboot MULTIPLE times, updated my tazer, unmarried/married followed by full reboots, still nothing. Anyone ever had this issue? Oh, as long as I dont actually START the car o am able to enter track mode.

UPDATE: I had the "TracKill" option set to the off position in the tazer menu, when i set it to on, all of my srt modes were able to be enabled. Strange, but that worked.

Yes I left it plugged in because a couple of the functions I wanted had to have it plugged in for them to work.’s automotive repairs what functions require it to remain plugged in listed on their website

The pursuit units are usually a few years outdated more than the car. For example, my 2020 pursuit has a 2015 radio because they always get the pursuits the old junk. Also, not all features work on all vehicles I believe the automotive has a list on their website of what will work with what radio.

@@prophetschroetke1500 they have problems with the front CV axles, the front suspension, and the fan blades usually come apart every so often and take out the radiator. happens to every newer model Charger pursuit around here throughout multiple departments

Probably needs a new radio from Dodge. Have you tried disconnecting the battery for about 15 minutes and reconnecting it?

I still have the blue screen and I haven’t disconnected the battery but I did the fuse This is a 2020 Dodge Charger Rt barely any miles on it with super trak pack and drive modes from factory

My hell cat did this once when I shifted into reverse and I am I had to restart the car and I started doing research and others have had the same issue but it wasn’t associated with the Taser at all because most of them were totally stock.

ACE D on the 2018’s you have to do the reboot procedure for all of your changes to take affect and keep from getting a dead battery. If you don’t do this your changes won’t I’ll take affect and your radio and dashboard will never go to sleep which will cause a dead battery.

Everyone work perfectly, except I can’t see the performance pages on my 8.4 screen. It constantly load and load. Any ideas ?? This is a 2018 Dodge Charger r/t FYI the performance setting are in the evic screen tho. Just would like to have it in the 8.4 so I can use the evic screen for something else

I have that same problem bro. I rebooted it like 5 times. I have 2018 RT 5.7 and I can’t get it to pop up. I haven’t reached out to tazer but I’ve read that the PCM is locked down tight in 18+ . What’s yours status as of now?

Rocker Nights I haven’t really done anything about it. I tried rebooting multiple times and nothing has happen. I just left it the alone until someone can come up with a conclusion.

Gray Knight I got mine to work !!!! On the 18+ the main screen doesn’t change. After you reboot check for srtMode in apps.

Rocker Nights I was able to get the srt pages a while ago, but performance pages within srt mode app in the upper left corner of the screen doesn’t work. It will only say “ Please wait “ and constantly load and load. The only way I can have the performance pages is in the evic screen.
