Well, that sounds promising. The King might like to strip those titles himself, but in this day and age he can’t just wave the scepter around, knock out a new Letters Patent and make things happen. Taking those titles will require the full support of the PM to make sure the motion can get successfully pushed through Parliament. Amended add-on: Which is why nothing was attempted earlier. It would have been a major blow to the King to have made a request to Parliament only to have it refused, which has been a real risk up to now.

@@user-zs6pc4qx1lif he successfully pushes through an act of Parliament that permanently changes how titles work and that you have to actually have to be a working royals, the King will have to respect it. When the Beckhams went to Invictus, it was by Harry's invitation. To ignore him was terribly insulting and a slap in the face. There is no bigger promotion to gain support for this event than to have a sports icon like David, throwing his enthusiasm behind the games. Harry and Meghan used them. David was there to support Harry and the games. I would end that friendship quickly.

Love you two together, lots of fun. When you Girls were talking about animals, it reminded me about a sad event that happened to my dear friend. Her ginger cat of many years went missing, which was out of character. Her daughter came home and said their cat was dead in the gutter, must have been hit by a car. My friend was devastated, so she got one of her new bath towels and got her husband to retrieve the poor cat and wrap it in the towel and bury it in their back yard. A couple of more days past and their cat turned up at the back door ALIVE but hungry. Turn out they had buried a strange cat. At least that cat was given a loving funeral service and is laid to rest in the yard of a loving family. Best wishes x

Same thing happened here when I lived in California. Neighbour came and knocked on the door and told my housemate that her cat was lying by the side of the road. We went and looked and she became distraught. Her parents came quickly and comforted her. Both her father and I dug the rocky soil and it was hard work just to dig up a small shallow grave and it was a hot day too. Just as we finished the burial, my housemate’s cat came sauntering along the top of the fence. Guess all black cats look the same. We asked around and found out the cat belonged to couple of guys up the street. Can’t say I was relieved when the two guys said it was best to leave it buried.

I am standing talking to my neighbours when suddenly in mid sentence I say "show me you bum, show me your bum". My male neighbour went into shock until I tell them that I was trying to see the colour on the bumblebees bum to determine it category. They still have a laugh when the bumblebees come out as if I am in the garden they can hear me saying "show me you bum".

All we had to do was show up with our luggage and enjoy. He knew miles to be covered and there was always that dirt road in each trip. Mind you he drove like he was flying while hauling the tent trailer, grandkids, and their parents praying we'd get to each place in one piece. What memories😅

@@angelasims2759 funny story was that this was just as emails and so on were becoming the norm. I had been contacted by a girl in Tassie asking if I had info on our ancestors. Her line joined mine 4 generations back. I sent her the info I had. My impulsive husband came home one night and said, tomorrow we are going to Tassie, so it was a mad rush packing and cleaning the house etc. I didn’t log in to the computer ( no smart phones back then). Unbeknownst to me there was an email waiting with a photo of my ancestors grave and the cemetery details. I had a very unusual surname and so began the great cemetery crawl! We couldn’t find them. We stopped in this lovely place called Fingal, as the family had lived or worked there, it had a lovely feel to it, just like the country areas my grandparents and their children lived in Victoria. We were looking in one of the cemetery’s and there was a tree and 2 dilapidated headstones propped up by the tree and enclosed in a barbed wire fencing. I said to my husband, this is lovely, take a picture of me. We enjoyed our visit, love Tassie to bits. When I got home, I opened my email, and there staring at me was a tree, with 2 dilapidated headstones, propped up by the tree, enclosed with barbed wire fencing! True story.

What a delight to be allowed to evesdrop on a conversation between two likeminded, intelligent, informed women! Thank you Shauna and Taz. I had a wee chuckle at your disclosure of your early reading years Shauna. I was of Enid Blyton's early era and read all of her books avidly.....right from the Noddy series up. My sister bought a copy of "The Faraway People" for our elder daughter when she was around 4 years old....she's in her 40's now but I still have the book....and the rolls of stickytape holding it all together 😂😂. Being an Omnibus collection I think I read that book through at least 6 times. I recently noticed that daughter had bought her own daughter a copy of the same book and was busy reading through it during their 'bedtime stories'. The love of reading and books can never be ingrained too early! 👏👏👏

Thank you ladies for a wonderful video. I love your chemistry together. I love Taz's story of rescuing Derek the little bee and then Shauna giving the dead mice a final send off ❤

Enid Blyton children's books are fantastic! Taz needs to get onto them. A celebrated English writer. I loved Faraway Tree, Wishing Chair, Tales of Long Ago, Tales of Brave Adventure, Famous Five, Naughtiest Girl in the School. And many many more

I enjoy your switched on banter & laughter together & you asked Taz great questions. I felt like we got to know Taz a whole lot more & loved the bee & dating stories! Books have such a lasting impact. I loved Enid Blyton books & the Lion Witch & the Wardrobe as a child too. (My brother worked on the movies, so it continues to have a special place in my heart!) Loved your insights. Ps. I found a few redback spiders inside my house recently & definitely didn’t do a Taz & save them!

Another great chat ladies. I visited Balmoral many years ago, when only a couple of the castle rooms were open to the public. However the highlight of my visit was a wonderful ride around the estate on one of the Queens Highland ponies, the ones they use on the hills. They stopped doing this not long after my visit, so I consider myself lucky to have had an experience not many have shared.

Shauna and Taz, I thoroughly enjoyed your conversation today. The only thing missing was a pot of tea, some scones, clotted cream, jam and tiny cucumber sandwiches - LOL! Taz's bee stories were so lovely, too! I hope you two will plan to get together often for these little chats. It is a delight hearing you share stories and gossiping about the royal (and not so royal) news of the day! 😊❣🐝🌻
