I am a tattoed woman and have had no problem finding commitment. Of course, I avoid "high quality" "nice guys" who put women into mental boxes. I am also grateful for men like this, for making it so obvious about who to avoid.

Guys like this in Florida don't even have no one to hang with after work is over. There are 60 to 75% of men in Florida have tattoos and they are gone with their friends once work is over because they have their own circle. Plus it's about cliques too.

As a purple haired girl, I honestly kinda like the poisonous frog joke, cause if my hair scares off someone it means I have nothing in common with them and wouldn't want to have those relationships anyway. So if it works as a natural filter in addition to being fun and making me confident, it's perfect! Also bright colors are usually evolved against predators, so kinda a self-report to admit it scares you....

As a sexual consent researcher who just recently conducted research in how people judge certain behaviours or characteristics as indicative of consent or non consent, I'm now thinking I should of added being heavily tattooed to the list. Yeah, I sometimes had random men touching me in public. It's always something along the lines of "appreciating the artwork" or "wanting a closer look", which is fine, but don't just touch the tattooed skin without asking and being given consent, just look at it like a normal person. You don't need your greasy fingers on my chest and neck for that. It's creepy and uncomfortable.

I'm a guy but small in stature with long hair and a higher pitched voice so I'm often read as female, or at least treated how shitty people would treat a woman, luckily I've only had 1 guy grab me to look at my tattoos. But it was spooky, only a bit of it was visible so this guy lifted my sleeve to look at it and now I'm a bit nervous about how far would someone be willing to go to look at my tattoos. Oh in my experience it’s definitely seen as consent. I had neon hair, piercings, and tattoos at my small college town so every guy would assume I was dtf, they’d offer me cigarettes (but not to the girl next to me bc ‘ladies don’t smoke’), tell girls to cover their ears before telling a dirty joke bc their ‘mama taught them better than to say that in front of a lady’ meanwhile nothing was ever censored in front of me (which I don’t need it to be but like jfc if you’re gonna be old school and gross at least include every girl in the room). Except peacocks are all male. There's a theory that being so beautiful puts male peacocks at risk from predation, so surviving despite having such an extravagant appearance is an indicator of strength which females find attractive. As a tattooed woman that just celebrated her 14th relationship anniversary and 2 years wedding anniversary, yeah it’s soooo hard to find commitment. My husband (who is currently playing peek-a-boo with our daughter) is horrified with my tattoos and has firmly put me in the fun box! That’s why he calls me beautiful and the love of his life everyday 🤷🏻‍♀️ Man if only I didn’t like having pretty flowers on my skin 😩

From someone who WAS actually defiled up until the age of sixteen being sold and sex trafficked… I have never ever considered my sweet Scottish, Buddhist Monk tattoo artist who is also a man (who also happens to be one of the best realism artists in the country) to be any adjective other than sweet, caring, understanding and kind. And tattoos have been my most effective therapy to date And I’m going to totally enjoy my day session with him tomorrow ❤😊

I just turned to my boyfriend of 3 years, "are you only putting up with my 3 tattoos because you want to bang me?" 'yes, and I'm tired of pretending I'm not!" So the proof is there! This man is right!

I love how he keeps saying "will make a lot of women mad" like how about no dude - it also makes a lot of men angry at you because you think your personal biased opinion is somehow a fact. If he had tried talking about these things with some of my male friends he would be laughed right out the room, or if he insisted then probably gotten shut down pretty hard. The stereotype of "tattooed/alternative fashioned women are loose/easy" is so boring and overdone. Like come ooooon. If you keep approaching women with tattoos for a fun time, then eventually there will be one who is down for it (if done respectfully ofc). But the same can be said about "traditional" looking women - but they don't get approached for that as often due to lame stereotypes. I used to figure out my sexuality in my early 20's, so this is pre-tattoos. And I was an absolute hoe. Like man I got around lol. But I had my fun, respectfully broke it off with that partner (as I never had more than 1 at a time), and then focused on other parts of my life. like work and education, and focusing on my art stuff. And with better work, came more disposeable income, and so tattoos. But I have always been the person I am, with or without them

These bone headed incels always think looks = personality, when literally all people are different. Like you said, if you look hard enough you'll eventually find someone who is more open to casual sex encounters. That doesn't mean everyone in that certain community/group of people is open to casual sex. I would consider myself an alternative woman, I have purple hair, piercings and I definitely want tattoos at some point, but I'm the complete opposite of his stereotypes. I'm a demisexual who has only ever been with one person sexually and that was with a guy who I had a relationship with for almost 3 years and had been friends with him for over a year before we started dating. I have no desire to sleep with people that I don't have a deep emotional connection with and I could easily be hoe if I wanted too, but thats just not who I am/what I'm into. I actually get sick of being approached by guys who think I'm "easy" just because of the way I look loll. (wanna make it clear though there's nothing wrong with people who are into casual sex as long as they're being responsible, respectful of others feelings, and everyone is consenting)

crazy that every time i've ever gone to see a male doctor i've been letting a random man defile me.... i feel so enlightened. also crazy that i, a heavily tattooed woman, am in a long term monogamous relationship with my husband (a "high value man" and amazing person). it's probably because most of my tattoos are blackwork though so he didn't immediately notice my poisonous nature. i really played him.

I also hate tattoos because: - they are expensive - they (sometimes) hurt - there are too many talented artists out there - there are too many great styles - they are too beautiful and it's hard to not stare - they take a lot of time to do and heal and I can't just wake up fully tattoed - they are an artistic way to express myself that I sometimes have to explain to others - someday I will run out of skin then what??

I’ve heard tattoos make women masculine and unattractive, I’ve heard tattoos are a walking red flag, pierced/tattooed girls are always crazy/toxic/mentally Ill, etc etc. but “letting a random man tattoo you means he’s branded and defiled you, and that is disrespectful to any prospective future male partners” is a new one! Eeeeew, the skin thing creeps me out so much. I once had an old lady "compliment" me because I hadn't "tainted my skin with ugly tattoos". I had shorts on during summer. It was so weird and creepy. I need to get some tattoos this summer to keep the weirdos away.

I know there is also one animal (i forget which) that scientist started tagging (with an easy to spot colored tag) for a study only to find out that the females liked the pretty new jewelry on the males that got tagged and it really skewed the season's mating habits and the scientists had to change the tags to something much less eye-catching so that that wouldn't happen again. So yeah, I thought for sure he was going to use that as a way to justify the idea that "tattoos are for men only" in which case I would have said that by that logic, all makeup, jewelry, and pretty, flowy dresses should also be seen as for men only, and women should be wearing the boring suits. #makemenprettyagain

The only reason I dont date non tattooed people is simply to avoid people like this. The 2 people I dated without tattoos were my abusers, go figure! But dating tattooed people means I wont have to deal with all of.......THIS.......just any of this. Most if my tattoos I've gotten in the past 2/3 years and not because of money, but because for the first time in my life I am in a healthy, happy relationship and my husband is the person who has helped me gain that confidence. I spent 18 years telling people "when I'm skinny I will get a sternum tattoo" and I never did it BUT I am a plus size (uk 20) woman and I got my sternum tattoo at xmas. My husband helped me come up with the concept, fine out the design and the placement, he took the photos to send to my artist and when I had the tattoo done, my husband was the first person to post photos (consensually) on his social media bragging about my tattoo and how beautiful it is. He sat next to me for 4 hours while I had my hand tattoo done, MY MALE HUSBAND is the person who gave me the confidence to get the tattoos I constantly put off because of men like this. So no, STEVE, only YOU believe the shit you are spouting.
