My Japanese judo buddies told me the armlock from Tasoev at 8:40 is Ude hishigi waki gatame (腕挫腋固)

In waki gatame the opponent's arm, if done to the right side, goes under tori's right arm ( his armpit). kzread.info/dash/bejne/anpp0pOzpa24d5M.html

I like Riner a lot, but was really sad when Tasoev was robbed of that victory. His judo is something special.
Great and sensationnel judoka..he offer us a very complete and spectacular judo

I can't think of a name for the kansetsu against the Mongolian player. It is not included in the Kodokan official kansetsu waza. It could be a Hara gatame but the opponent's arm is too high on the Russian's chest.
I am watching the throw against the Georgian player at 8:01, again and again. Can someone tell me why this is waza ari??????? Also, isn't the counter attack against Riner the one that was cancelled by the referee committee on the basis that it was not an official judo technique, HAHAHA....I think this was one of the most ridiculous decisions in the history of competitive judo.

The same thing happened to the greatest Basketball player of the NBA...WILT CHAMBERLAIN in the early 70s I think. In an NBA game he made a pass from a block in one single quick movement and the referees called it a foul. Traveling. WILT CHAMBERLAIN replied: "Only because you never saw that before it doesn't mean automatically that it is a foul" That happens with all inventive steps in sports... It is a human weakness.
