Hello! How did you make it possible to record separately 1-2; 3-4; 5-6; 7-8? need to be soldered in parallel RCA?

hi if you can find any zonal - agfa 1/2 tape you will find decks with bad breaks in them i have a tascam 38 where i had to make a new logic pcb 12v mini relays with of the power trans the logic pcb was very ill big time just wait for last part to come i know i will get alot of mail the tascam will spool the tape like on my otari mtr 12 so i can hear the tape past the heads to make it easy to edit tape or find the edits in the tape

I have one that has been sitting for about 30yrs. Probably has 20 total hours on it. Motors seemed to be gummed up and won’t turn a full revolution. I need to learn how to clean/oil the motors. Sad to see it just sitting there not used. Looks brand new.

HI,, if you can get it to me, i will be happy to strip and service it for you....Please do not force the motors though, you may damage them internaly..

Wow, great job. I have one of these and it works great, but I fear the day it needs parts or work done. I do my best to maintain it, but I'm no expert on its innards. Are you anywhere near NYC?

i have one of these units, any links to a video calibrating. im getting bleed through on the tracks, i dont know where the adjustment screws are and also trying to figure out where to buy calibration tape?

hello I recently just got one of these machines and was wondering if you could give me some advice with an issue I am having. The rewind function on my machine has completely stopped functioning and when rewinding moves at a speed slower than the playback. All other transport functions work fine including the fast forward function which leads me to believe it is not an issue with the belt. Do you know what my problem could be? Does this have to do with the tension arm on the side of the take up reel? If so what could I do to try and fix this issue? Thank you!

Hi its probably the motor drive circuit that controls the motor power and speed. it also gets information from the tension arm. try with no spools on, u will need to lift up the arm to get it to start though. if u are in the UK then i repair and service all versions of this machine..

HI The only belt is just for the capstan and has no part in FF andRR functions. your issue is with the logic board and motor controller. you can contact me at gmfix.co.uk
