Wow, are there any exploits in this game at all? It seems like this entire run is just using the physics engine as intended. If so, that's remarkable game design.

+frankjohnson123 The absolute only exploit of any kind I can think of as far as Monkey Ball is that it will only check for collision on certain frames so, on one level in SMB2, the goal rotates so fast, if you get it on the perfect frame, you can clip through the goal post. But it's only very very VERY slightly faster than the normal strat. So, in short, they're really no way to exploit it as far as glitches and stuff.

This is the craziest TAS I've ever seen if only for the reason that a lot of this seemed feasible without a tool.

Well, now I know what the rest of the master levels look like... I never seen't that Dodecahedron level, nor the ones after it. I must've quit half way through masters.

loved the sega dreamcast music they used in games!

I only ever played the GBA version of this game. Beating expert and master modes for the first time were some very mystical moments.

All the stunts in this video were easy for him to do, because this is a TAS. He was able to use save states, slow the game down and use frame advance.

***** True, a TAS takes months to make and requires thorough testing and knowledge about the game's coding, but I'd say a TAS still is easier than an RTA.

In my opinion, tases are way better than runs by humans, simply because bots can pull of way more mad tricks and glitches than humans can and that is just plain epic if you ask me.

thank god this is a TAS and not vanilla. if it was normal this guy would be inhuman.

How do you like that? Even when you finish Master with Gon Gon, he *STILL* gets left out of the final cutscene.

This video exemplifies how fucking impossible Expert Mode is. Personally I could never make it past Stage 7.

Have you tried using OBS? It's free and it's what I use to record emulator. If you can't get that to work, you can always just play the replay, pause emulation as the monkey hits the goal and take a screenshot. That might be enough to show that it's possible.

Sorry guys, I went back to try this again I could only run straight into the goal for beginner and advanced extra. The Expert one was just a bit too fast. I guess I confused them. I hope a TAS-runner can go back to check if it's possible to do the same for expert, but at least for me, I couldn't.
