Super Monkey Ball "Master" Speedrun in

Ойындар

I have written an FAQ about the run/category below!!!
Q: Is this WR?
A: This is the fastest completion of Super Monkey Ball Master as of September 15th 2019. This is also the first ever run to break the 15 minute barrier!
Q: How long have you been speedrunning this game?
A: Since January 2015.
Q: How many attempts have you done of Master?
A: My current splits read 15275 attempts. I think I lost some splits from my old laptop that were at around 12k? I'm honestly not sure. I have also done a few thousand attempts without any splits. Guesstimate is somewhere between 17k and 30k attempts.
Q: Why do you enter and exit the game at the start of the run?
A: This is load manipulation. I do it for both Expert 5 and Expert 1. Expert 5 is pre-loaded via practice mode. Expert 1 is pre-loaded via the difficulty selection screen. Combined together they save roughly 1.5 seconds.
Q: Why is there audio stuttering/framedrops in the run?
A: I'm not entirely sure, it's either a) the fact I chose to record direct audio from my cap card instead of what I normally do where I play it through my speakers and/or b) I was watching a high-bitrate stream the entire time I played (shoutouts to Sick_Nerd lol).
Q: Will you keep playing?
A: I will come back to polish up a few other categories sometime. I have no immediate plans for Master though, maybe if there are new discoveries found in the future I shall return.

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me through this journey. This is without a doubt the greatest speedrun I have ever done. Sure it's not perfect (looking at you Expert-Extra), but damn am I proud of this. Love you all!

I'm glad you enjoyed watching! It was certainly a fun run to play. I had no nerves after I made that one mistake in Expert Extra, so it was just nice and chill to finish out, felt very confident it was going to be the run!

I'm very late to the Monkey Ball party as I didn't grow with the Gamecube. Wasn't until last year I got a Wii with a Gamecube controller/memory card with Monkey Ball 1/2. And lemme just say... I am hooked. it's like crack. And you sir have years of experience that I could only dream of unless I had the time to play this daily. I haven't even beaten this deathless with extra AND master... Hell I haven't even unlocked the freaking master stages yet 😂

I know a way to bump this time even lower. For you see. There us a skip you can do on expert 32. Where. You pick up speed on the 3rd to last turn and then go directly right. To bump jump onto the end of the sage. Skipping the last 2 turns! Issn’t that crazy! I call it. Turn bumpy.

🌜⭐☀I think the point was with this video , who is bibi and BoBo or something like that for the other monkey.... Anyway, this channel literally feeds their monkeys well. I can tell by watching that these monkeys don't suck their thumbs, they don't show signs of being afraid or depressed and they are always playing and eating well. The question is, and I think the point needed to come across, is how do they train the monkey in order to get him to do this? Keep him hungry? Beat him? That is what a lot of people assume when they see a trained monkey because in the old school times when people trained monkeys and animals for the fair, carnival and circus they would starve and beat them into submission most of the time. I don't see signs of that being done with these monkeys and trust me it would be very visible and noticeable. Also, a question to ask is how does it seem the monkeys feel about being dressed and doing all these tricks or activities if you will? Are they uncomfortable or do they seem okay and happy? I don't know because I am not the monkey or living in their consciousness but a good way to tell is pay attention to the behavior of the monkey and notice does he or she look stressed or show fear like when they "smile" but it's actually a fear grimace not a smile and sucking their thumb is a sign of trauma or clinging to themselves and putting their head between their legs and flinching constantly or hiding...I don't see that with this monkey but not to say they could be pausing or editing any behavior like that. I don't like the monkey being dressed or constricted in clothes but hey I don't like clothes myself and think we should all still be naked so whatever. I'm not saying it's right to force a monkey to wear clothes and do other tricks because although, they are primates like us non -human, it's not exactly sensible, other than for the monkey looking cute or more human, to put clothes on one. I literally saw someone dress their monkey the other day and then go dangle it from a tree. Now why would someone do that? Monkeys have fur for a reason not clothes because their clothes would get hung on branches in trees and cause them to fall or get stuck so definitely please don't dress your monkey then put it in a tree or let it try to go climb a tree. I guess it's a matter of preference and opinion if owning a pet monkey is right or wrong but as long as it's not illegal in your state or place you reside then that is your choice and right. However, it would be great if whoever decides to get a pet monkey would treat it nice and fair and with love and kindness and not dress it and make it do tricks but we all know that's not the case with most. I have two monkeys I rescued from a breeder. They both clung to me and my daughter for 6 months solid. Rarely let go. They eat great and healthy and play with each other and us in the grass and trees and have a very good life. We do not put clothes on them for any reason and only put diapers when they are indoors. However, we constantly keep their diapers changed and clean if they are indoors for the night or I should say when they are indoors for the night. We have never posted any kind of video and never will. We don't care for them for monetary gain or to be seen and noticed but because non human primates are our favorite animal and one that has a special interest to my daughter and me. We have been working on the last 5 months starting our own private safe haven and sanctuary and we want to go to these other countries where these abuse videos are happening and offer large amounts of money to the people for their monkeys and to not post anymore videos with animals abusing them and this would be under contract to receive the payout. We then want to take monkeys back to our sanctuary and begin the long process of healing and nurturing and rehabilitating. It seems like a long shot but if money is what these people are after then I can't sleep good at night knowing I could take a plane, go to the country, give my money away, save the monkey from this day in and out torture they are going through and give them a shot at feeling love, care, nourishment for their bodies, rest and some peace where for once in their pitiful daily lives they won't feel scared or worried what will happen next or will they get to eat today or tomorrow or a week from now? I would send those people straight to jail myself if I believed it would help but jail or being chastised by authorities will not cure sadism and that is what this basically narrows down to. How cruel can humanity get before we ever make a change? We are so socially and consciously behind that it's embarrassing to a point that other civilizations from other planets literally call us " the planet of children". I know children who wouldn't behave in this manner though, starting with my own. My daughter is going to begin college to study and become a vet when she graduates high school and she has always been an animal lover, she won't even kill a spider.🕸🤗 She is so upset over this monkey abuse situation that she is the one who had this idea to go there to these other countries and get these monkeys. Blessings 🙏 and peace ☮ to everyone and sending out positive vibes in all points in time and space for everyone's life. 💕 🐒💕☀⭐🌛
