Sonic: Scorched Quest, formerly known as Sonic 1: Burned Edition is a fan-made hack by Team Painto of Sonic the Hedgehog game for the Sega Mega Drive, which shows one of Sonic's adventures after the events of Sonic CD on South Island. It focuses on redesigning the original stages to set them in fire. Initial releases just burned the levels, but in later versions, a story was added to explain it and also to create a new experience for the player. Current version is pre-3.0 or pre-final which is the third release.

Burning Super Sonic is probably gonna be similar to Blaze's regular super form "Burning Blaze", I might be wrong but I think both of their concepts are similar in a way as both forms can control fire at will.

Something of super scorch sonic
This ROM Hack takes me back. I really loved it's concept. Though in execution it could've been even better, with Sonic's Scorched Quest there is alot of great stuff. Excellent TAS Shiro, extremely entertaining to watch and was fun experience seeing a TAS of an almost forgotten ROM hack that was quite popular upon release.
I like how someone said "Remember Angel Island Act 2? What if that happened everywhere?"
Another great TAS Shiro, keep up the good work!
One has to wonder what Robotniks plan was here. Step 1: Set the world on fire. Step 2: ???
This hack is very very good... one of my Top Favourites!

Imagine there a hyper form claled "ultra burned sonic" where hes just red dark but so much faster and have a new max speed. And you have to get 5 big emeralds for it.

That happens to like rom hacks in general; either not enough people to care or... they've found things they want to do more. When Sonic Scorched Quest: Reheated comes out this year, SSQ as a whole would probably explode in popularity again.
The moment Sonic started crouching that fast after defeating the act 1 green hill boss, gave me a good laugh.

This is weird! It seems like the Sonic the Hedgehog (1991), the sonic speed in Sonic CD (1993) and Sonic Mania (2017), but in Sonic Mania (2017), it have the same jump with 2 sonic's!

its not the only one, boiling labyrinth is taken from act 3 of lost labyrinth of sonic 4 ep1, and the second act of molten brain is the death egg mark 2 from ep 2

@@PaintoOfficial Terrible idea to make text dark in any circumstance. I don't really mind the font, though I would say the original is more appealing to the eye, but who cares, they're just numbers. However. There was absolutely nothing wrong with plain white numbers, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Customize it all you want but if the change makes it less functional than before, it's a bad change. You're not the only one, I've seen plenty of romhacks that change the font to something impractical and to that I ask why. Why would you do that? Can you not tell that it's hard to read dark text? Add a stage with a dark background and hard becomes impossible. Takes like 2 seconds to even understand how many rings you have, let alone score and time, sheesh.

26:09 was my favorite moment. The TAS is so OP'd that the boss's health bar just peaces out way in advance. No need to stick around, it knows how brief this fight will be.
Even when he played sonic master edition at all he can finish it quickly

This could be improved at some parts as you don't have to do a full peel out or a full Sonic CD spindash sometimes

burning hill = first zone of kaizo sonic 1 (i kinda forgot the name) roasting marble = marble but lil bit remix flame yard = sonic 06 crisis city boiling labyrinth = sonic 4 episode 1 lost labyrinth act 1 fire light = sonic 4 episode 2 sylvania castle act 2 why's there no boss in fire light? molten brain act 1 = idk molten brain act 2 = another sonic 4 episode 2 sky fortress act 2 speed shoes theme = i know but i can't figure out because it was split second (maybe from year 2000s i guess?) invincibility theme = sonic the hedgehog 1 / sonic the hedgehog 2 miniboss / giant badniks theme = idk boss / boss at molten brain & pinch theme = idk ending 100% theme = idk too metal sonic boss theme = sonic 4 episode 2 metal sonic theme
