I have loved Elton John for a while now but Taron definitely did Elton's life fantasy oh so wonderful! this Friday that i went to see it i realized that i fell in love with Taron Edgerton as Elton John....or as his real self too but my oh my he definitely surprised me, i can't stop thinking of the 'Don't go breaking my heart' and closet heavy kissing scene, I'm dying to watch it again!

I don't know why Bryce takes the position that people should let abusive mothers off the hook and avoid discussing them frankly. The harm that they do to their kids is the equivalent of or worse than a woman having an abusive husband or boyfriend. Children don't have any power to do anything to change the dynamics of such a relationship. The abuse that happens to them truly goes unreported for most of them. There's no excusing it simply for the fact that a woman is a mother.

I don’t think it’s so much that she was letting her “off the hook”, I feel she was more being realistic that no one just wakes up deciding to be evil and that there’s always a reason behind actions (which doesn’t necessarily excuse the behavior) and that just overall it’s a real person that you don’t want to disrespect and villainize in a movie.

It was hard for me to pay attention to what they were saying because Taron and Richard are so attractive especially when they act and sing that I just lose focus and just my heart sinks and I fall in love so hard

Like this exact shot they are really high up in the air. and he's still sitting at the piano. in the movie, they weren't in the air until he kicked the chair away from him. Must be an outtake.
