She barely knows the song (check 3:10) but already does it better than most seasoned primadonnas. The cadence between 2:44 and 2:50 is insanely hard yet she does it smiling.

Translation: "Moon, high and deep in the sky Your light sees far, You travel around the wide world, and see into people's homes. Moon, stand still a while and tell me where is my dear. Tell him, silvery moon, that I am embracing him. For at least momentarily let him recall of dreaming of me. Illuminate him far away, and tell him, tell him who is waiting for him! If his human soul is, in fact, dreaming of me, may the memory awaken him! Moonlight, don't disappear, disappear!"

sadly Tarja did her make up in almost all her concert unless very special events. but that is her trademark and it shows clearly how she is different from other artists. She is a crossover artist very much like sarah brightman, its just they have the base in common but Tarja is more extreme to cross to metal/rock compare to sarah. Hail to Tarja!

Yes it is, but Finns haven't more than two consonants consecutively. For example: "ice cream" is in Finnish "jäätelöä", but in Czech it's "zmrzlina" :D Now try to say this: ENG "Tarja is my favourite singer." FIN "Tarja on minun suosikki laulaja" (I hope it's right) CZ "Tarja je moje nejoblíbenější zpěvačka." :)

@Serinia4melodic I disagree. Nearly ALL Therion vocalists are trained opera singers, and some pop-opera singers also are opera singers. Lori Lewis is an example of that. She's the vocalist of Therion and she's a coloratura. :)

@Guilherme7530 I think they use some of the classical technique, but still symphonic metal singers or pop-opera singers never achieve the operatic timbre needed for opera. How long have you studied? Maybe we can chat more?:)

@Guilherme7530 lol:)) It depends on every singer. I had a veiled and beautiful voice when I started classical singing. But not everybody can sing opera... you must be able to bring your voice in resonance. create a big sound. If you can`t do that naturally... you`ll loose to much time training and sing Zerlina at 40 y old:))))) instead of the 20s

this is in czech language. In my opinnion, her accent is not as good as should be for this song, and for this kind of song. She has got really nice voice, but her czech does not sounds as good as it should be. But my native (czech) language is really hard, so in the end, she is brilliant.

Fernando Perez No concuerdo..

Tuomas no compone maravillosamente.
