@@dalia1598 Did you know that the Ave Maria(Hail. Mary) was part of the Mass in the Salisbury(Sarum) Use? It was not just a private devotion. Also the Medieval Rosary did have beads but did not have decades like the later one did starting in 1568 or 1570. Also this same hymn is sung in two part polyphony or descant organum(medieval polyphony) in a recording called The Scottish Lady Mass by Red Byrd Ensemble(Medieval Plainsong or Plainchant and Medieval Polyphony or Organum. It was also part of the Aberdeen Use in Scotland. There is such a thing as Lady Masses and Lady Chapels. It is also found on recordings and manuscripts like Codex Las Huelgas of Medieval Spain such as by Brigitte Lesne and Discantus, Rene Clemencic, Denis Stevens and The Ambrosian Singers, etc. There are also videos of a Brazilian Monk singing Sarum(Salisbury) Chant in Latin and possibly Portugese or Spanish and also English and Americans singing Sarum or Salisbury Chant(not Gregorian Chant) in both English and Latin.

@@dalia1598 I am now listening to early Bonnie Tyler from her first four albums before 1983 with stupid songs due to their sound not the lyrics "Total Eclipse.." and "I Need.... I do not like her music from her fifth album onwards. I am also listening to early Kim Carnes from the 1970s and her 1980 album before her stupid song hit "Bettie Davis.." on a different album(again, it is not the lyrics but the sound) in 1981.

@@dalia1598 I like early younger Tarja before 2006. I also listen to early Amberian Dawn with Heidi Parvanien when they also had the old school early Tarja/Nightwish sound in vocals sounding like early Tarja and music style of early Nightwish. Another band is Rain Fell Within with a similar sound.

If she had stayed with Nightwish until these days, she could have been forced to change. Holopainen has shifted his style to melancholic and epic music with their new album. It’s still a great one but I expected something more powerful like “wish i had an angel or last ride of the day”

@@MinhNguyen-ff6xf The last lineup with Floor brought renewed energy, and some good songs, but as of late, the band has slipped into a major funk that really threatens it's future with a good part of it's fan base. I mean, I couldn't bring myself to listen to their last album more than once, yes it was that BAD.

From My Winter Storm to Ave Maria and everything between, including the idiots from Nightwish who didn't have the class or the cajones to tell her in person that they couldn't keep up with her, Tarja Turunen is one of the most amazing voices this world has ever seen, and few if any will ever match her!

Never gets old. I play this, LOUDLY to my neighbors chagrin, every Christmas Eve when it gets dark. But it never hurts to come back every now and then when times are troubled.

its also a shame for every singer that has to follow her. Nightwish managed to get AMAZING singers. Fllor and Anette, both amazing. But not quite up there. And especially Anette with a more pop music like voice. They have the fate of following a one of a kind voice. Something that is close to impossible. Axel Rose will has the same problem with AC/DC. While he is an amazing singer, actually one of the best male vocalists in rock music ever. He is not Brian Johnson, who had a one of a kind voice that made 80% of the sound of AC/DC. Its not even about who is better, because lets face it AR is better than BJ. But about the fact that you have to replace somebody with a unique voice.

Some people says new singer Floor is better than Tarja. Just can't understand it. She is good but Tarja is absolutely best in all terms. I just can't listen Nighwish songs without her.

Recently quite accidentally I I found in Wikipedia that Yiruma kzread.info/dash/bejne/aaGVrLGCY7SzpZM.html (contemporary Korean pianist/composer , very well known & popular in South-East Asia ,USA ,I like him & sometimes listen to his albums as "chill-out" :) ) had collaborated with Tarja on Ave Maria in 2006. It's written on his Wiki page. Is it true and if so,what sort of collaboration it was ?
