Tell me, I am going from heli's to dab in the race drone world. I find it very difficult to find a major brand of race drone, unlike helicopters that many stand behind like helis, cars, planes, etc. With these you have major name brands and avaialble parts. With these race drones, not the DJI film slow versions, there is nothing at the top. Its usually mix and matches of various parts from all over. Also, how far can you go on the radio withouth losing connection where its lost in the wood or on top of some random building? Battery life?
Every sport needs a Tareq Al Saadi! Not "conventional", almost circus performer like, insane skills, always aims to please the fans! Great job man!

Tareq is such a talented pilot. Really takes someone to try to just hover one of these things to appreciate the amount of sheer talent to fly like this. It looks crazy and all over the place but really to make it do what it does takes a lot of training and natural talent. The precision at the end of the grass cutting and blade scraping was unreal and really shows Tareq can not only fly around like crazy but really has control of the machine at all times. Really amazing flights congrats Tareq Alsaadi!

@Kris Kross No, I don't think so. To fly at this level takes real skill. And you can't simply buy that. I've seen 12 year olds doing 3D that blew my mind. Not because they were rich, but because they were naturally tallented, and/or had thousands of hours of practice. To simply pass this tallent off as due to wealth is more than a bit naive in my view.

@@Varksterable exactly. I know several 3d pilots and they spend thousands of hours running pc simulation before they fly like this.
@Varksterable

@@countryacademy9053 Exactly. I've also spent if not thousands, then at least many hundreds of hours of sim flying. And I didn't have much concern about cost at that time. Any RC pilot will tell you; "If you can't afford to repair everything, then don't fly." But I also had enough imagination to find flying IRL an adrenaline pumping experience. Maybe the key thing is not money, but absolute self-belief and/or massive ego/naivety. (Often goes with money, after all.) I do wonder how close Kris has been to starting up one of these things for real while holding the controls? They are, imo, bloody terrifying! Unless you have absolutely no imagination or soul at all, it will probably double your heart rate and make you seriously question why you are doing it. I guess over time that fear lessens, and confidence and ability grows. It did with me after a while. But to say it is 'easy' is like saying driving an F1 car is 'easy', or flying an F35 is 'easy'. Sure; once you've mastered all the skills required, _everything_ is easy! That's why we are all gold-medal winning astrophysics with Nobel peace prizes and 8 PHDs in disparate subjects, serving in the SAS, right, Kris?

@@Varksterable I can't say having a shit ton of money wouldn't help because you could pay someone to fix all your screw ups lol but all the money in the world can't buy skill..I've seen several 3d choppers totaled by professionals just tuning before take off. I mean anyone can fly a walmart special or most drones for that matter.

I just recently bought my first CP heli, a T-Rex 470LM by Align, after having... A. No simulator time B. Never built a kit heli before. C. Not flown anything at all in 5 years. D. Never flown anything but quads and a Blade 200 SR X (fixed pitch) with SAFE. I am completely insane. I know. But hey! I have had about 10 flights with it so far without breaking anything... and HO-LEE-SHIT is this thing amazing. Tareq just gets more and more amazing each time from what he does with these rc helis, one would wonder how often he changes the bearing on the remote sticks gimbal. Those bearing will be flaming hot to carry out those unimaginable maneuvers. I also keep wondering how many gigabytes of ram he uses in his brain to calculate and process those precise feats, Tareq you my man is the greatest 3d rc pilot, hats off!

I never understood how this is possible. And many rc pilots will not even be able to manage that. I never did.
