It can certainly be a bit tricky. My worst nemesis are the small closets.

Nice gravy work, wish I didn't have to do ceilings. Me and my boy would blow through 4 of those a day and still not put in 8 hours

You had me up until you used light weight mud to bed your tape with. Not enough glue in it. Should be using heavy all purpose for bedding tape.

Thanks for the comment! I have never used the all purpose mud. How is it to work with compared to the Light Blue?

@Red Pine Ridge Farm its definitely a lot heavier to work with but you can't peal your tapes afterwards like with the lightweight mud. I get tons of jobs repairing popped tape seems because they used lightweight to bed the tape with

For me it's about the same for knife work. All purpose definitely harder to sand, but that doesn't matter since finish coats are with plus3. You can also just mix in some glue to your lightweight and you've got a nice taping mud.

@@robertm5969 Can attest to adding glue to lightweight mud for taping. Been doing it for long time. Save ya from buying different types of mud. Usually add elmers glue or carpenters if elmers is not on hand for purting up tapes

Just curious who is accountable for the poor sheet rock hanging. Will that reflect your pricing?

They are students who build the house for a class in school. This is most likely their first time hanging drywall and is intended to spark interest in the trades. Normally it would justify a price increase, but for this situation no. Thanks for the question!
