I have heard Rollercoasters before the Tiny Desk concert and several times after but for me there is only one version and that is the version that touched millions. Brought tears to the live audience..brought tears to even the performers and has continued to touch millions to this very day and that is the Tiny Desk performance. Knowing that that performance of that song done in such a personal way helped to jettison their career to another level, for the life of me I don't see why Tank would just run through the verses here like she gotta pee and needs to get off stage. You had Jelly there..you had all the pieces of the band...you have the countless fans who continue to reference "Tiny Desk....Tiny Desk...Tiny Desk" so if they are asking to hear that song what version of it do you think they want to hear and why do you think they want to hear it? They know that song is going to touch them, break them up like someone trying to stuff some Lays into a Pringles can but like the thrill of the Rollercoaster they can't wait to get back in line. Yes, I know you've been doing that song for at least 7 years now and probably burnt out on it and perhaps don't want to be defined by it anymore, I get it. So if that is the case then stop doing the song. Leave us with Tiny Desk. Leave us with the hungry TATB..the group that knew how important that opportunity was and was so full of emotional gratitude that it all just spilled out in the music and the song. Leave us with that moment when we first fell in love with Tank.
