@@deefarhei3617I mean no disrespect commenting on this, but when you book a tour with a tour guide (at least in Europe and especially in France), it is expected of you to be fully awake and attentive to what's happening and what your guide is saying. It's very common practice for a tour guide to get your attention if they see you wander off or not listening because sometimes, they say pretty important things (safety and all) so you gotta listen. If she was that tired and hungover, she shouldn't have come. Like tell your friends it's not a good day and just sleep. Even if she wasn't aware of what kind of tour it was (not some party and drink wine tour as she expected I believe) she should have done some research to be prepared and know if she was gonna be able to handle it or not. Concerning the insulting bit that the tour guide did, I'm not on that part yet but if she did I agree that was not ok. But it certainly does not warrant a damn full naming in a podcast like damn.

My mom is french and Tana's whole attitude is exactly why French people dislike Americans (and influencers). "The customer is always right" is an American thing, it's not a thing in Europe. No matter who you are, you should show respect and be polite to people just trying to do their jobs and educate you on their culture, especially when you hired them to do it!

from someone who is european and has worked in retail, the "the costumer is always right" thing do apply in europe as well, for sure. you can be treated pretty badly by your costumers but are expected to be nice (as hell) back to them. so i wouldn't say that is entirely true that it's an american thing only. people in general (tana included) need to be nicer to working people who are providing them with a service!!

They expect anyone to cater to them. And expect expensive at the cost of nothing. And act like America is better. I mean have you heard about teens engraving their names on a wall of the colloseum? And then the guy said and I quote: "I didn't know it was an ancient building" to be fair these tourists weren't american but Swiss. But they give off the same uneducated entitled vibe that Americans do. I don't have a problem with Americans. I saw many on my trip to Matera, Italy. Unless they act so highly as if America is the best. Or act loud. Or don't respect other countries. This is not America. It's called Italy for a reason. And at the same time they also brag about any italian ancestory. We don't want you sir. Not with that attitude. Now France is a work of art when it comes to acting snob. But Tana was way out of line. The tour guide didn't act all bossy or highly like she did. At this point I cannot wait for these unruly tourists to break the law somehow and get arrested for being a nuissance.

@@sabrinagranger5468fr. plus, idk how her fans haven’t seen that Tana has lied multiple times about MULTIPLE PEOPLE in her story times. It’s been proven that her story times and things that happen in them are usually overdramatic or outright fake. I don’t believe any of that bs from Tana’s mouth. Waste of my time supporting terrible ppl just cause they’re “entertaining”. But I also agree with you, Cynthia deserved to send some digs towards Tana atp. She was being ignorant and doesn’t even know how privileged and lucky she is to be able to go to a wine tour like that! Should’ve just done her research on what she spent lots of $ to go ‘enjoy’ 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have been on a handful of wine tours and it is literally the guides job to thoroughly explain the wine and the grounds. I would kill to have that experience in France, sounds so boujee lol! They’re acting like spoiled brats oml.

I'm actually fuming. Like, this woman WAS DOING HER JOB! I've been on wine tours before, and the guides always tell you about the history, the stories, the products, how they're made (sometimes if the place is haunted or not). That's LITERALLY their job! Tana's being such a Karen it's infuriating.

Sadly I can’t drink anymore ☹️ but a wine tour with Cynthia sounds like an absolute bucket list experience that most travelers to France would kill for!! Tana was an entitled snot - if she decided she wasn’t feeling it during the tour, I’m sure she could have politely said she wasn’t feeling well and needed to go back to her hotel, and they could have made it happen, no drama. There is no need to insult Cynthia’s passion and enthusiasm!

I did a study abroad in France once and my group was also lucky enough to visit a vinyard and took a tour throigh the grounds, the processes, where the wine would sit and be bottled, all of it. The guided tour was absolutely amazing and we did a wine tasting after and the vinyard was extremely kind. Tana shouldn't have gone while hungover, that's on her.
