do the brass up grade works well specially on that controler i have mine set up with cruse control and 3 pos swiitch to shift

I'm trying to find a gearbox like this for a custom project but all I can find are the little plastic fixed ratio gearboxes. What's the model name or number for this? Or what are other similar gearboxes? All I need is an inexpensive but good shiftable gearbox. Any suggestions?

Jared Connell I know this answer is late but this comes with a Tamiya truck kit so you can't buy separate

Hi Naman, I got this kit from Adventure Wheels located in Gurgaon. You can search the web or you got them from Tamiya website as authorized dealers. This is a lovely kit and if you love small realistic working models, you got to go for this. Enjoy !!

This is the gearbox of Tamiya 1/14 scale Scania truck. It is available with Tamiya shops or Towerhobbies online.

It comes with the Tamiya Scania Kit. You can however buy separate gearbox from Tamiya authorised shops.
